Asylum Based Green Card Approved After Mandamus
I got approved today. Filed for mandamus on August 1st with the help of a lawyer. Paid him $5.5k but you can also try to do it yourself. Keep in mind that it’s a little difficult file it on your own. I would sue them if you have been waiting for more than 15-18 months.

APPROVED AFTER 2 YRS!!
I am almost a week late about this but I attended my greencard interview on aug 9th.. Agent approved straight away! Waiting on official notice and card! I feel like I have waited so long for this 5 minute interview that I don’t understand why they dragged this process out for 2 whole years. the decision was clearly made before we walked into that room so you’d think they would’ve waived our interview- In any case I am happy and thankful that this chapter is over! Sending patience and comfort to all those still waiting and my heart goes out to those waiting longer than I did! I pray that your wait is nearing it’s end💕

RFE
Dear Lawfully Fam!!! Here I am again asking you for you input base on my situation. I just received a RFE from uscis for my form I-485 that I filed about two months where I was current at the time but not I am not current. my PD is July 2022, However, the RFE I am being asked is that to SUBMIT A PROPERLY COMPLETED AND SIGNED SUPPLEMENT J. This puts me in a deap reflection. The company started the process way back August 2021 but, unfortunately I was holding a tourist visa where I was not able to work. a year after the process started I got status under TPS (Temporary Protected Status) , which gave me access to a work permit. when I got my work permit the company requested me to start working for them but under different role compared to the Job title that base on my EB application. Also, the company name has changed since they merged with a different company so when I was filing my I-485 two months ago I filed the form according to my current status like if I am working and what kind job that I am doing….
Now my fear is this, because they requested Supplement J that makes me feel like they probably think I am with a different company since. I don’t know if I need to explain all that in a letter to send along with the Supplement J form or what should be a best way to do this. Please any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Praise God! I130 and I485 approved. the wait is really not easy PD AUG 15, 2022. it's an emotional roller coaster for me till I get tired of waiting and checking for updates. I remember I even cried many times and breakdowns coz I really miss my kids back home. I came to the point of ill just give it to God and believe that I will get it, and now here it is! ti God be the glory🙏. Goodluck everyone! God bless us.
