First sorry about what you’re going through…. if you’re relationship isn’t strong or if like in your case your spouse is asking for divorce, best option is to wait for the 5 years….

I am sorry for what is happening but i think you sure go ahead and apply for the 3 years you been married for this long and like someone just mentioned the divorced take time that’s true and the rule for the 3 years marriage that’s what you have it right now , is you divorce when you have 2 years marriage is another history but you already been married 3 years , and also anybody can have marriage situation but the time of the 3 years you have it complete

You must wait until 5 years, because the rule for obtaining citizenship after 3 years is that you must remain married to the citizen.
