From EB2-NIW to EB1A to EB1B

I wanted to share my timeline with you as this community has been so helpful with me!
I-140 EB2 NIW approved in August 2023.
I-140 EB1A sent early November 2023 with I-485/765/131. Got EAD in February but did not use it and stayed on O1A.
RFE for EB1A in June 2024. Agent approved 2/4 criteria and challenged the fact I did not have thousands of citations. so I decided to ask my company to sponsor me with EB1B. I-140EB1B sent mid-July, in PP, RFE because it was missing a letter justifying the company can pay my salary. Approved mid-August. The EB2NIW date was ported to EB1B. I-485 was approved 2 days after! this was unexpected!
(AP never approved). (I did request an interfiling from EB1A to EB1B).

Approved at last
happy ah , just got my approval notice today, application was officially a year Aug16 … my spouse replied the RFE for the I-130 on Thursday and it was actively reviewed yesterday , got the notice on my uscis today my i485 has been approved ,can’t wait to have the card in my hand .. to everyone still waiting , hopefully approvals get to yall too cos I know the waiting game is crazy with sleepless night
inquiry through congressperson
we sent an inquiry through my congressperson to request expedite for my travel permit since I need to do a work trip and we received this response:
“Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent’s immigration matter. However, your constituent’s ancillary Forms I-765 or I-131 are unable to be considered for expedited processing at this time. Our records indicate your constituent’s Adjustment of Status packet was recently received and is currently undergoing front-end pre-processing at the NBC. Interim benefits, such as those applied for on Forms I-765 or I-131, are unable to be adjudicated until the underlying Form I-485 is reviewed and deemed prima facie eligible. Once further action is taken, your constituent will be notified at their address of record. If you wish to submit an expedite request on behalf of your constituent, please feel free to submit another inquiry with documentation to support their expedite request in 60 days.”
does it mean my petition will be reviewed within 60 days? have anyone received this response before ?
what does it mean?
I haven’t done biometrics yet… my i140 is approved and was filed concurrently. PD 20June2024 , ROW. EB1-C
I’m thrilled to share that my immigration journey has come to a successful end! 🥳
After 9 months, a lot of google-ing, reading different experiences, and a looot of time chatting with Emma , I’m finally at a place where I can reflect on the entire process with gratitude and relief.

Contacted a live agent this morning thru Emma, was told that my case is at my local field office and the interview was waived, pd date was June 2022. Also asked about the last update on my case and was told it’s under background checks, what’s does that mean? #tiredwaiting #godpleaseanswermyprayers

we finally got our approval from Vermont Service Center! after RFE response was sent on 8/15 we received NOA2 the next day on 8/16, the status got changed only on 8/19
