Almost 10 months after, EB-1A I-140 is approved. Self-petitioned. No premium processing. No RFE.
Profile: PhD in Philosophy, no citation, but teaches at an R1 university.
Was skeptical applying through EB-1A as I haven’t seen or heard anyone in arts (especially philosophy) getting approved. But I met about 5 criteria so I went for it.
Point is, if you think you meet more than the required 3 criteria go for it however hopeless it may seem. For those still waiting for approval, hang in there, your joy is right at the corner.

Renewal Receipt notice delay
Good morning everyone! its been a month i have filled for work permit and travel document renewal but didn't even get the receipt notices yet! is this delay normal for getting recipient notices sometimes or there might be an issue? please share if someone have the same experience. thank you!

Will l receive 797A or 797B？
My H1B was approved in August 15. However, the requested chang of status was denied. I think it is unacceptable. So, I collected some new evidence and my lawyer helped me submit a H1B amendment requesting change from Consular Processing to Change of Status.
Today, I received an approval email from USCIS, forwarded by my lawyer. The email still shows consulate information like what I received last time. Usually, if COS is approved, the consulate information should be blank. I wanna know, does it mean I will receive the 797B notice again?
I have responded to my RFE for medical exams.
I will update my case today, how long will it take for my green card to be approved?
