Need your views for planning purposes
Hello, I need your views for planning purposes . I have OPT which will expire 4th February 2027. I have an approved EB2NIW I-40 with PD February 3, 2025. What are my chances of my PD becoming current for AOS before my OPT expires. Should I start planning to enroll back in school to maintain my F1 status after my OPT expires? My current is also willing to try H1B lottery for me if the need be. I’m just lost in my thoughts today and would appreciate your views.Thank you.
banned country
You’re not imagining it
being from a banned country means you’re carrying an extra, unfair burden where your nationality triggers heightened scrutiny and delays with USCIS, and it’s exhausting, painful, and deeply isolating to suffer because of where you’re from rather than who you are.

VAWA Pending & Need Surgery Abroad Anyone Done This
My VAWA has been pending since 2021, but now I have my combo card. I’m thinking of waiting for the approval back home, because I need surgery I can’t afford here in the U.S. and I don’t have insurance life’s a bitch. Definitely scared though. Looking for people who’ve done this how it worked out, were you able to come back, and what exactly happened?
travel documents
good morning ! I’m very heartbroken right now. I’m from a travel band country. been in this country for 10 years without even a speeding. I was granted asylum last year and waiting on my green cards and travel documents. now with the pause, im very sad. at this point I don’t care anymore. I’m tired of everything. this is not right.
Approved work authorization application I-765 but No EAD Card After 100+ Days
My work authorization application has been approved for over 100 days now, but I still haven’t received the card and the status never changed to ‘card produced.’ I’ve contacted USCIS so many times and every time they just tell me to wait another 30 days.
My Congressman submitted an inquiry and USCIS took 29 days to respond. They told him my application was approved back in September and that the card would be produced at a different USCIS facility, and that I should receive it within 30 days. Well, those 30 days are over and I still haven’t received anything.
So my Congressman submitted a follow up inquiry and we’re still waiting. I originally submitted my application in June, so this has been going on for a really long time. It’s honestly so frustrating and unfortunate.
Has anyone been through something similar?

Does the suspension of the Diversity Visa (green card lottery) affect marriage-based green card applications?
With recent news about the suspension of the Diversity Visa (green card lottery) program, I’m wondering if this affects marriage-based green card cases.
Our I-130 is already approved, and we are waiting for the U.S. embassy to schedule the immigrant visa interview (consular processing). This is a family-based case, not DV-related.
Does the DV lottery suspension have any impact on embassy interview scheduling or processing for marriage-based immigrant visas, or is it limited strictly to the DV program?
Thanks in advance for any insight or official references.
case remains pending
hi guys new here,

We are temporarily pausing work on your application because an immigrant visa number is not immediately available to you. Once an immigrant visa number becomes immediately available to you, we will resume processing of your application.
