does anyone know when the embassy opens new appointment slots for k1 visa in Ankara? also does it take long time to be able to schedule an appointment after receiving DQ? or there is a priority for people who have been waiting longer?
How long does it take for NVC to recieve approved #129f application and send welcome letter?
Can someone please let me know how long it takes between uscis and nvc to embassy times?
Also what happens or what applications need to be filled after you recieve nvc welcome letter?

Hello,
I filled for my fiancé and the case was received on Jan 20, 2023 and I called USCIS and requested for expedited processing which was denied.
I got the contact of my senator that can reach out to USCIS on my behalf but I`m not sure what/how to write him so I can convince him to reach out to USCIS.
Has anyone successfully completed the expedite process with a senator? I need support in completing the process? #K1 #I-129F #fiancé

hey community, I need your help. so I got my welcome letter, “The U.S. Embassy or Consulate will contact your fiancé (e)/spouse when they are ready to process his or her petition.” however when I track the case it says it is “In transit” but the interview date was not on the email. under the “in transit” it says “ your case is in transit to the consular section. your interview date was provided to you by the National visa center.” I just got my welcome letter today after 85 days and have no even paid my DS-160 yet so am confused how is it in transit if that is not paid yet. so can I just schedule an interview somehow? and then do my DS-160 form? because it says I have to schedule the interview, the consulate does not schedule it for me but I have no clue where to even schedule the interview. looking forward to you’ll knowledge. #K1 #I129F

Has anyone filed for the Advance Parole/Travel document I-131 while adjustment of status is pending?
My fiance is supposed to be coming to the states by the end of March. We plan to get legally married soon after he arrives and then will start the adjustment of status application, as well as the advance parole document, because we are scheduled to have our wedding reception out of the country in August. We need to get accepted for the travel document in order for him to enter back into the states while his adjustment of status is pending, but wanted to know if anyone has any experience with this?
