@Jackie B. 👋🏻my NOA2 approval date is March 13 (California likewise) so we have almost similar cases then some people are getting NVC letters after at least 60 days which is not bad; some people here are saying 90 days and in my perspective that would be problematic

im still waiting too, mine was 03/24

I got my approval March 15 and still waiting. was beginning to get worried but they replied my inquiry and said to wait 60days

some say 6 weeks to 90 days! NVC emailed me back that it takes 6 week at least

I received my welcome letter 60 days after USCIS approved the form 129F. I only wait the embassy let me schedule the interview day

@kate ib on a facebook group i saw that people from March 6,7,8,9 are just getting their letters this week Hopefully we are next Personally i contacted nvc on the 30 days mark too since that was suggested on my approval letter I thought it would be appropriate but from what i read some people are suggesting to better contact at 45 days, they think theyre having better luck that way

i havent heard back yet, im march 13

March 15th 2023...received email inquiry response today again they have nothing

@Jackie B. sameee omg i inquired on my 58th day (today will be 60 for me) and the answer i got was the same as we got on 30th day inquiry like exactly the same i dont want to be bothersome and inquire all the time but i am wondering when should we reach out again 65-70days? hopefully by then they react themselves

to your point the standard answer that they havent received the petition from uscis

@Jackie B. @Enika H Oh wao! mine was approved on March 23th and as well I filed an inquiry Fallowing the approval notice. NVC replied to wait 60 days 🥴So I see yours and think that it would be probably around 90 plus days 😅

@Suresh Singh @Jackie B. @arike akanni @kate ib @melina perez i received my nvc # today after 78 days i received it via a public inquiry form this was my 4th inquiry case is still at nvc hopefully it gets shipped next week to embassy good luck to everybody i thought i would update for reference

@Enika H thank you for letting me know. mine has been 76 days now and still nothing. the last time I sent an inquiry was at 68 days and they confirmed they had received it but had not entered it in their system. hopefully I hear back soon

@arike akanni you will; thats a positive answer you might also get it next week when they do their shipments to embassies if you dont have a public inquiry pending already, send another short one one of these days

@Enika H I finally got a response from them, but it was a one page document and not a letter. it has my case number and asked me to go ahead and schedule my interview. I am unable to send in my application because I can’t find NVC invoice ID number, do you you know what that is?

hey @A P yes, they send via email the welcome letter to the petitioner and lawyer if you have one but only the day that the case is transferred to the embassy when it is in transit then youll see the welcome letter

@arike akanni is your embassy requiring the invoice id number in some document? mostly ive seen that nvc doesnt provide it for k1 visas i have a vague idea of what it is- i think you can use invoice id to check your status on ceac after the interview but that shouldn’t impede you to proceed if you got the welcome letter go ahead

@A P oh gosh it took them almost a month to ship it from the moment they had actually created the case so my fiancé as the petitioner received the welcome letter the day they sent the file to the embassy which was almost 3 months after NOA2 right it depends no one can say when they will ship a certain case also we get our case numbers beforehand just for our peace of mind basically because anyway they have to send the welcome letter to the petitioner at the time the file gets shipped

@arike akanni practically when you get your welcome letter and have case status ready you just need to fill your ds-160 and save the confirmation page then depending on the embassy the process differs some require the documents beforehand some don’t

@Enika H we got the letter from nvc saying application is in transit to embassy. This took about 100 days from noa2. Will the petitioner recieves the welcome letter or the beneficiary?

@Enika H I'm little confused, does the beneficiary receive anything in physical mail? I thought the letter we received 2 days ago says k1-FTP with case number and interview location etc. It doesn't have interview date.
