processing time increased again??
Processing time for Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status (I-485) at Texas Service Center is now at 32.5 months. It was at 15 months few days ago. Do you know of any news/announcement from USCIS on this? I can't find any related topic on the web.
Note: processing time increased is for all service centers. #i485 #processingtime

VAWA Approval and Green Card application pending. Holding i-130 in abeyance, waiting on decision for Adjustment of Status
Timeline for Approved VAWA case, approved Work Permit and Travel Permit as well as currently pending Adjustment of Status and I-130 paused upon submitting of a I-360 right around the interview for I-485. * During an interview I asked to hold my I-485 and I-130 in abeyance, which means they didn't have to deny them and hold off the decision until the VAWA is approved/denied. Hope to see the result on GC soon!

I864 question
If the sponsor is a student with no income currently, getting married and starting a job in July after graduation with income that would qualify, would just employment letter work or W2/tax return is necessary? Sponsor did not file tax for the last few years due to no income in school and was claimed as dependent by father. #i864 #I485 #I765 #FamilyBased #F2A
i-485 / i-130 waiting for 2 yrs (3 service requests without response)
Hi all,
I applied for permanent residency through my wife who is a green card holder (F2A) on 5/11/2020 (priority date).
The latest update from USCIS on biometrics being done was back in Aug 2020, so it’s been a while. My field office is Pittsburgh, PA and it says estimated processing time is 10.5 - 18 months so my case is definitely outside the normal time by far.
I called, had 3 service requests, even wrote to local congressman, but no response from the USCIS. My wife and I are currently in the States, both from S. Korea and we are in just a waiting mode for too long.
FYI, my advance parole was approved after almost 2 yrs since filling date on Apr 8, 2022 and my EAD has been approved / extended once. Any opinions on whether this is indeed normal? And any suggestion on what else I can do would be really appreciated!
Thank you so much all! #i485 #i130 #f2a

Case rejected . My case rejected because uscis couldn't cash my check. They revoked my approved EAD. do i need to start again with a new biometrics and all ? does anyone know about re filing this?
#i485 #ead #gc #aos #k1
The rejection notice saying my I485 rejected on Feb 18th 2022, But the uscis account showing my case is being actively reviewed. The. my EAD approved on march 25th. i sent a enquiry about not receiving my ead on 05/09 and i just received a mail showing that my case is rejected on February 18th because of that the uscis revoked my i765. So if im filing a new application with new fee. do i need to attach any receipt notice that i received from uscis? do i need to re do that biometrics? pls let me know if anybody knows about it.

Same-Sex Marriage Green Card
Hi everyone
I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the recent news about the supreme court decision over overturning the vote for same-sex marriage.
USCIS received our case on October 25 and we have been waiting since then for our interview. We are barely living on my partner's income and I'm still waiting for my EAD to be processed. This recent news about overturning the vote for same-sex marriage made the whole process even more stressful for us.
Does anybody know how same-sex marriage cases will get affected by this new law for the recently filed applicants and those who filled before?
Thank you
