i140 pending more 180 days
Hi!
I’m having a hard time with my original employer. they got 2 rfe on the i140 and they are not going to respond cuz they can’t provide the documents uscis are asking. I sent my i485 in December 2021 and my i140 as well (concurrent). The question is… I have a similar job eligible to get my case and continue my process i140 and i485, but my i140 still pending with rfe… Can I still send the AC21 and do the job portability ?! and the new job keep my case?! please if someone got the same problem or know someone that got that with success pls tell me, cuz I’m so sad that is happening… I can’t believe it 😭#i140 #aos #i485
Interfile Medicals
My i-485 got transferred and I’m trying to interfile my Medicals, since I haven’t gotten an RFE yet. I contacted Emma live agent and they informed me it got transferred to NBC but I have to use my local field office for processings time- Baltimore. I’m wondering, where do I send my Medicals to; NBC or my local office? I plan on getting two copies but I want to be sure I’m sending the first one to the correct center. I know interfiling isn’t guaranteed but it’s worth the try. Has anyone had any similar experience?. #transfer #interfile #medicals #i485
Address changed without any notice!
Hello Lawfully Community!
Today I contacted USCIS because my notice has been missing for 6 months. She told me that my address is different than mine. I tried to get that information but she didn't tell me. I found out during the phone call. It was completely different state. Which is I've never been in that state. Is there any possibility to know my address change history or currently on the USCIS system now? Has anyone had same experience with this?

how long does it take to get green card after EAD + AP combo card?
hi all,
I submitted my application for I140 NIW in October. I submitted I485 in December. I just received my EAD + AP combo card. I am wondering approximately how long it will take the get my green card. Any data would be appreciated.
My i140 is at Nebraska, i485 is at NBC (potentially San Jose service center).

My #i140 EB2 NIW has been approved 🥳
- I filed concurrently in May
- Upgraded to premium processing when it became available on July 1st
- i140 was approved on July 11th
I still have to wait for my #i131 #i765 and eventually #i485 but it’s still a huge weight off of my shoulders.
Any idea if it will accelerate my other filings or if it’s totally unrelated?

how to reply to RFE
I got medical RFE. the RFE notice was sent to my employer and they told me it is enough to send back copy of the RFE notice along with medical report to USCIS. However, from my online research, the original RFE notice is required not a copy!

485/140/765/131 and 693 filed together in Sep-2021 at SRC, I140 premium processed, crickets until transfer of my case to NBC in May-22. Approval after 42 days.
A 7 year journey finally at an end. I moved to the USA intending to stay here for 2 or 3 years before perhaps returning home - but Texas has really grown on me and itself become my home. I’m glad I don’t need to say goodbye to my friends.
So excited for what the future holds and what opportunities this now unlocks for me! It is a little bittersweet, I have many friends stuck in the backlog who filed before me. While I’m happy I wish this process was more fair.

Birth certificate for 485
I didn’t have a long form birth certificate so I submitted a notarized affidavit from my uncles who certified my birth details. I also submitted the birth certificate I had (which didn’t have my name) along with school certificates and my passport which carried my date of birth. I also did the same for wife’s birth certificate which had similar errors.
I also recently got to know that USCIS also expects a certificate from local municipality that the long form certificate is not available.
My i140 ans i765 are already approved and waiting for my i485. Would the above birth certificate situation be a problem?

My case showed “New Card is Being Produced” last Friday and “Case is Approved” today. Any idea when I can expect to receive my card in the mail?
