Received RFE letter through mail, but no case update for two weeks
Hi Lawfully community,
I received RFE letter for I485 through mail on August 6th and mailed back the response in the following week. But the USCIS online case status hasn’t changed ever since. Is this normal? has anyone encountered this scenario? #I485 RFE
AOS denied. what to do next?
Hi Everyone. I got my case denied because I didn’t provide evidence of my lawful status. I have talked to 2 different lawyers: one says I will get a deportation order if I don’t send a motion to reopen after 30 days. the other says I won’t get a deportation order and I can build a stronger case and re file. who do I believe?
I have asylum pending since 2017 (I applied way before my duration of Stay ended) so i never accrued unlawful presence. and I also have TPS approved.

USCIS is on approval spree
I’ve been hearing left-right-center - approvals from USCIS.
GC WAITER - turns to be - GC HOLDER (future).
Due to Covid & corp Policy my employer waited till last year of my visa to support me file my GC.
My visa expires in 12days, with no option to extend. With only so many days left on my visa with no more extn. possible - god blessed us with this approval.
