USCIS is on approval spree
I’ve been hearing left-right-center - approvals from USCIS.
GC WAITER - turns to be - GC HOLDER (future).
Due to Covid & corp Policy my employer waited till last year of my visa to support me file my GC.
My visa expires in 12days, with no option to extend. With only so many days left on my visa with no more extn. possible - god blessed us with this approval.
Concurrent filing: mid Sep’21
Biometric: end Nov’21
140 Approval: end Jun’22
485 moved to NBC: 8 Jul’22
AOS approval: 4 Aug’22
Don’t loose hope. Hang in there, your prayers will be answered very soon. I went thru the most stressful patch and with God’s blessing the doors opened, I pray for y’all to get your approvals very soon.

I wish they would be on an approval spree for the people waiting for IR1/CR1 visas at the California service center. haven’t seen a lot of those lately

I hope so. I’m at 338 days of waiting today for my I-130 to be approved at California service center so really hope I get my approval this month

Mine is in Nebraska, PD Sept 21. The spree approval for some reason skipped my case. 🤣

yea I agree, it seems like all the employment based visas are getting approved. The last couple of months have been really slow on the IR1/CR1 visas especially out if California.

@emmy I really hope next week they start picking back up on the IR1/CR1 visas. I feel like my approval is any day now so I’m having a lot of anxiety

@Corine, I feel so bad for you, you have been so close for so long now, you must be in the next batch to be processed from California. I’m right there with you with the anxiety, I just need to see some movement now. 🤞🏻

@emmy thanks. yea I just talked to a girl last with pd of 08/29/21 at California and she got approved last night. but then I know someone with pd of 08/24/21 at California still waiting on approval. I just prayed that I would see my approval by tomorrow or next week. i feel like my heart is going to jump out of my chest

congrats. but you didn’t go for EAD(I765)? just asking as you said 12 days left on visa. EAD would’ve got you 2 years time.

@chasing gc - thanks! yes, applied 765 along with concurrent filing , which was approved a day before GC.,
However, earlier this year I tried reaching directly to USCIS and via. Congressman to expedite 765 in Apr-Jun - stating I’ll be out of working status by mid Aug and would have financial impact; but USCIS just referred to the processing time and denied both times.
