My case just got transferred to another centre not sure if this is good or something to worry about .
Either ways it’s been beating a year and calls for another medical which is means to the medical again and pay the fees again . I wonder why can’t they have someone verify and process medical records just as they receive and avoid reprocessing & repayment for us .

RFE For Medicals?
My GC interview was waived on July 1st 2022 but I haven’t received any communication for Medicals yet. No EAD or AP as well.
Approximately how many months one should wait before hearing from USCIS for Medicals after interview is waived.
My filing date- 03/07/2022
Type- Marriage based ( Spouse is a US Citizen ).
Field Office- Newark NJ

EB3, PD 09/2014 - Transferred to FO on 09/01 & i-693 Medical RFE issued 09/08!
- USCIS supposedly ran out of 2022 GC Visa Numbers on Sept 06.
- My case was transferred from Nebraska to NBC on Aug 31 and then to Atlanta FO on Sept 01 (I am in Bay Area, CA).
- On Sept 08 an i-693 RFE was generated (since I did not interfile medicals), which was delivered to me on Sept 16 - this stated respond by Dec 05 so we don't deny your case (but try to respond ASAP so we can evaluate your case before end of FY 22).
- I responded to the RFE on Sept 22, which was delivered to Atlanta FO on Sept 23 (at 10:30 AM, Atlanta time).
- Till today (Oct 02), the i-485 status just says "Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction"
QUESTION:
- Why would USCIS request documents (that expire in 2 years) for something that is potentially very last step of an EB3 Sept 2014 GC application, especially when they have ran out of Visa Numbers, the Fiscal Year is about to end, the PD is not current and the upcoming fiscal year shows retrogression?
NOTES:
- I had an approved EB2 i140 with a prior employer, but moved to a new employer after the EB3 downgrade (by the prior employer) in Oct 2020 and the 180 day period had passed. The new employer filed an i-485 Supplement J.
- The new employer's i-485 Supplement J, was transferred on the same day and my pending i-131 "AP Renewal" application was also updated to show fingerprints on the same day as these transfers (aka Aug 31 / Sept 01).

AOS 485 issues while asylum is pending
I have a pending asylum since 2018. After I applied for asylum, I applied for NIW I-140. The NIW-140 was transferred to the houston asylum office and was stuck there for almost two years. My lawyer had to ask ombudsman to get the I-140 moved back to the USCIS Texas service center. Ombudsman request was successful and my I-140 was transferred to the TSC for adjudication. My I-140 got approved May 2021. I then filed for AOS 485 in July 2021. This morning I learned that my 485 was transferred to Houston asylum office in September 14, 2022. My question is (1)why the 485 got transferred to the asylum office while the asylum office doesn’t have the ability to adjudicate the 485. (2) what the asylum office is doing with my 485 (3) Will this delay my 485 approval? If so, how long? (4)What do I need to do to move the 485 back to the USCIS for adjudication? (5) will it be helpful to withdraw my asylum so the 485 process can move forward? (6) if I withdraw, will the asylum office release my 485 to the USCIS. AOS 485 application based on approved NIW I-140 was transferred to Asylum Office
Hello - i learned from the USCIS agent that my adjustment of status application I-485 case based on approved I-140 NIW was transferred to the Houston asylum office on September 14. I simultaneously have a pending asylum case. Does anyone here have some experience? What will happen next? I got I-485 application in process based on my Kid who is a US citizen. I saw email from the USCIS stating " We have taken an action on your case" last week and also got EAD approved around the same time. There is no update to the I-485 status, any clues what does it means? #I485

Applied i485 on April 2022. I called USCIS today and came to know that my interview was waived back in July 2022. I know how others are feeling when they keep waiting for their I485 approvals.
Today I completed 300 days applying to I485.
It's been 10 yrs my i140 got approved since mine is EB2 India.
Its soo insane that my case was moved from NBC to TX and than movied to a different office but soon moved back to NBC again in July 2022.
It's so insane that we ppl are just left beyond even though we applied in 2021.
I would request all to do this favor which might benefit everyone who are waiting or going to wait in the line for I485 approval.

Hello everyone, both dependent and my case status shows biometrics applied to case since June 24, 2022. No movements after that. our recipt # starts with MSC2990. Heresay that as of today USCIS has stopped processing employment based application this month and will resume in Oct. Do y’all think that there would be any chance for a status change before Oct? How long does it take from Case Transfered to get an Approval of I-485
my EB-2 AOS I-485 was transferred from Nebraska Service center on September 7 to FO (not sure which office) but wanted to check what are next steps/status and how long it might take to get an Approval assuming no RFE or Interviews? any opinions or experience Thanks!
