International Travel during i485 processing
I have an approved i140 and my i485 is pending with USCIS. I have not yet received the Advance Parole card.
My L1 petition is approved and I also have a Dropbox appointment in Dec. can I travel to my home country for stamping and come back on visa while the i485 is pending. Need suggestions whether this would impact my ongoing i485 case.

yes u can travel and come back using your L1 visa but there are cases wherein when you have pending I-131 AP on going some say it will be cancelled but some their pending AP was not cancelled and got the approval weeks after they returned.

We traveled with L1. We received a RFE asking us to show proof that we did not leave, but we did. We responded them but we do not know anything yet

from what I’ve read I think you doing be good. I’m traveling in December as well with an approved i 140 and approved Ead but pending 1485 ( transferred from Texas service center to nbc In Oct)

if you travel with L1, it won’t affect your i485 but maybe it will affect your advance parole. I have read that some people got the advance parole even they traveled, but we were not that lucky 😅 well.. we are still waiting a decision but we are pretty sure they will deny it
