Hi there, I am getting anxious about my I-485 processing time because my I-485 status has not changed since 11/6/2021. I finished the biometrics appointment and received my EAD card. However, I have not received any further notice or information about an interview schedule. It seems like the people who filed the papers after me got the interview schedule, but not me. Is my paperwork lost? or do I just need to be patient? Here's a timeline of my case: 9/23/2021 - Filed my I-485 10/5/2021 - The USCIS received it 11/6/2021 - My I-485 status on the USCIS website has changed to "We scheduled you for a biometrics appointment" (it has not changed ever since) 12/2/2021 - I received a "I-693 DEFICIENCY NOTICE" 12/6/2021 - Finised with my biometrics appointment 5/18/202 - Received my EAD card #I-485 #I-693 DEFICIENCY NOTICE #I-485 Processing Time

I-130 wrongly sent to NVC, how long to get it transfer back from NVC to USCIS?

in 2018, our I-130 got approved. Today we had our I-485 interview. The interview went okay but officer told us she cannot make a decision until our I-130 case gets transferred back to USCIS. She said she has no idea why it is in NVC. Anyone has similar experience? How long does it usually take to get it back to USCIS? #I-130 #NVC #I-485

Expedited VAWA Approved, I-485 Transferred to NBC, How much longer until I-485 is Approved?

Hello, My VAWA case was approved on October, 2022 after an Expedite Request. I-485 was transferred to NBC for faster processing. Last I-485 update was on November 4th, 2022, “Case was Updated to Show Fingerprints were Taken. It has been around 4 months since then. Concurrent Filling F2A - expected decision soon?

USPS lost mail containing green card

Hello all, My and my wife's AOS (based on approved NIW application) was approved last month and USCIS mailed the card on November 10th. Mail came to the regional destination facility on the 12th and no update after that. I followed up with the local USPS office and opened missed mail requests and everything possible but no luck, they say mail is lost. I applied for a replacement card today but it shows 18 months of processing time, which is ridiculously long. Has anyone gone through a similar situation or do you have any suggestions on how I can expedite it? I am trying to have temporary stamping done at Local FO but it does not seem straightforward either. TIA for your advice. #I-485 #I-90 #AOS #Lost_greencard #USPS

Advice on when to file I-485
