Well I got approved Dec 14th 2022, my i485 was updated to fingerprint taken again after it was same up 04/2021 now Dec 14 2022 it changed to same again. And my case wasn’t transferred or nothing but still waiting. Did they send you i693 deficiency?

@Hector can you advise me if I did something wrong.... January 5th I mailed out my packed to be expedited due to my grandmothers passing 😭to date I have received anything...An email an acknowledgement NOTHING! They received my packet on Monday at 12noon...What can/should I do?

@Kenny Kenny, no i have not received anything after the approval just the approval notice.

@S P @hope hope hope Well i got VAWA Expedited under humanitarian section. My father who resides in my home country had a malignant mass in his brain and had to undergo a life threatening surgery where he could have died. I asked the doctor to send me all proof of this, MRIs XRays exam results, etc. I did have to get it translated and notorized. Once all that was done, my lawyer sent the expedite request with all the proof attached. i sent Expedite Request on July 5th, 2022, Received and Reviewed September 28th, 2022. Approved on September 29th, 2022. Then case was approved on October 7th, 2022.

@God is my lawyer, yes you can it all depends on the situation though. even I-485 can get expedited but its harder.

@Katrona if they received it then give it some time they should give you an answer, especially if its an expedite request.

@hector Liriano, I hope your father is out of danger, so when you submitted expediated about your father about all this was it based on huminatirian that your father had to visit USA or you have to visit him ? you have Advance parole ? @gary p, it was for me to go visit him. i had advanced parol when i started my vawa case but never used it now. its expired though. at this point im just waiting for i485 to get approved

@S P this was done by my lawyer. but usually you just mail it directly to your service center thats taking care of your case. my lawyer sent it here DHS/USCIS Vermont Service Center 75 Lower Welden Street Saint Albans VT 05478-0000 again it was sent to this one due to my case being processed in vermont service center

@boss you can also call their 1800 number and keep on asking for infopass and you will be connect to a person, who can help with the expedite, I did in first week of 1st of Jan 2023, and my i360 got approved on 23rd Jan. 2023, after waiting for so many years, also I just called them this past Monday in regards to my pending i485 cos my school has listed me as foreign student, and guess what vermont sent RFE on my i485 after 2days of calling, am hoping the RFE Is medical and not anything serious

hi @Abyna Turner. Do you remember which phone number you called to get to the agent and ask to expedite? Everytime i called them they offered to schedule me for in person appointment for infopass. BUT i dont want to do that. Could you share the number and how exactly you were able to reach out to the real agent that can help with requests such as yours? Also, do you remember or know if your i-485 was still at the vermont office at the time off speaking with that agent? or was it already transffered to NBC?

@Hector Liriano Hernandez I have the same situation, I gave all medical reports to my attorney to expedite my case. she submitted to uscis last week. but today uscis approved my EAD & travel doc, no update on i360. I don’t want to take risk visiting without GC. is there any specific way to push i360 faster?

@jack Y sadly no, expediting it is the only choice ive seen.

you sent expedite request about 2 years after the submission of I-360?

@jack Y yes, but only because i had a humanitarian reason. if it weren’t because of that i wouldnt have expedited it, until its outside processing time

My i485 status finally change today..August 13, 2023 New Card Is Being Produced, after a long wait, my journey with uscis will soon be over since 2013,... started vawa 2017, started vawa again in 2019 and finally here I am God I thank you, ... I pray everyone gets a good news before the end of the month...goodluck
