PD for my i-130 is May 4, 2021, Potomac. Actively reviewing since July 4. I see people with PD later than mine being approved. I was/am in removal proceeding and was supposed to appear in court on July 7, 2021, but court got postponed and there has not been any rescheduled court date till this day. My lawyer says the court will most likely not give me a new date because of limited resources and more "serious" cases in the backlog as a result of covid (seeing that I haven't committed a crime and I'm not high risk). I assume most people who file a single i-130 as opposed to filing the joint i-130/i-145 have a similar case as mine. Does being African married to an African American affect these things? Is anyone out there (approved or not) with a similar case willing to share experiences and ideas? It'll be greatly appreciated. #potomac #i-130 #frustrated

EB3 pending, fiancé a Citizen

Hi all! I have a pending I-140 with PD May 2021 filed concurrently with other paper works which are all pending as well in Nebraska Service Center. Biometrics done October 2021. My then boyfriend proposed early this year and tentative marriage will be end of 2022 or early 2023. Fiancé and I are thinking of filing for family category petition after marriage but we are unsure of how to proceed since my I-140 and other documents are still pending. I-130 Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS for third times!

Hi guys, my son's case "F2b" was updated today, and it is the third time that nothing changed and shows the same status "case is being actively by USCIS" First time was Sep 30th, 2021, the second time was yesterday, Feb 14th, 2022, and today Feb 15th. :( Is anyone has the same experience? my case has been approved yesterday in 1st of April after more than 11 months of waiting form Vermont Service Center. Thanks god. Approved less than 1 month of RFE response. No interview was required as my spouse and I live overseas. And I truly appreciate everyone in this community who has shared greatly useful info.. I hope luck for you all waiting, it is a longe journey but with patience everything hopefully will be as you planed. although lawfully status has not been changed on the first day the approval letter has been found in the USCIS account. #i-130 #vermont #spouse #RFE

E-filed I 130 approved, interview awaiting in 3 weeks

Hi all, I share this post for those who are concerend about their E-filed I 130. My wife filed I-130 online on April 27th. Next day, we could find the receipt notice through her uscis account. When we filed I-485 a few weeks later, we simply printed out the online notice to prove that this is a concurrent filing. We were actually waiting for official I-797 notice to come via mail, but it was delayed due to address issue. So we asked uscis office whether the online notice had the same effectiveness as the mailed version. Online notice has the exactly same contents except the fancy headings with uscis logo. They said it is okay, so we filed I-485 with I 130 online notice. Then, there was a confusion regarding the service center. At first, I saw an update in uscis account that it is with NSC. But the notice said on the bottom that it is with TSC. On May 4th, the status changed to 'being actively reviewed', but I didn't have any update until last week. So I called uscis, and now they said it is with CSC! In the meantime, my I 485 was being processed with normal timeline. I received the interview scheduled update on Dec 6th. And I received I765 ead last friday(10th). Then this week, on 15th, I 130 was approved!! I was so worried because it was at CSC. And I was not sure how much they prioritize online filed I130. Also, I was worried that I485 packet is physically not with I130 packet. But, it seems that uscis takes care of online filed I130 in the same timeline as the physically mailed forms. I couldn't find many information on e-filed I 130, so I leave this info for those who are concerned as I was before! #online #E-file #I-130

Its been over 7 months i filed my i-130 and still no update since i got the Receipt Notice. Is this Normal?

I filed my i-130 as F2A and got upgraded to CR1 in Nov 24. i also filed i-129f after my naturalizarion in hope that they will have a look in my case. Its so frustrating and hard to stay with ur love ones and to know there is no update for over 7 months 😩 #texasservicecenter #uscis #i-130
