I just got approved : February 10, 2024 (We received your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, and sent you a receipt notice.) April 28, 2025 (Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS) but when I checked the document's section there was an approval letter. Any body knows how much time NVC is gonna take to send me the letter and transfer the case to embassy ? please help. #i-130

I got a Text and Email around 10:46pm Sunday saying that they had taking an action in our case, when I checked it was our second actively being review, them I got a second Text and then I checked the documents tap and saw our approved notice. Hello everyone, Could anyone let me know when the case has been approved and what the next step is? I-130 for my son was approved. His category is F2B. Could you please let me know what the next step is and how long it will take? Does USCIS still handle the case? My I-824 has been approved! We received the NVC letter in our emails at 10pm last night. Though it doesn’t show the I-824 as approved, it updated my I-130 in USCIS to say it has been transferred to NVC (day 96 from filing I-824). I am a U.S. citizen and my spouse is Mexican. We also did not expedite either case. #I-824 #I-130

Hi Guys, I have received my I-130 approval on 24th August 2022 after waiting for good 22 months for this day however on the approval letter they asked me to file for I-824 because i choose both the options of AOS and immigration visa overseas i guess. i have filed for I-824 because i didnt want to delay my process even a single day now as its quite frustrating that i again i have to go through the waiting period and have heard that this a least priority form in USCIS. Any suggestions to what can be done parallel to I-824 processing period to get my approved petition sent to NVC P.S. i sent mail to USCIS yesterday i.e., Sept, 6th 2022.#I-824 #i824 #i-130 #NVC

Case finally approved after waiting over a year for a decision. I recieved an email saying "we have taken action against your case". Once I logged into my account, I saw an Approved letter under documents. My case started at Nebraska before being transfered to Potomac. The wait was long but I'm glad its over and we are onto the next stage with NVC 🎉🎉 #potomac #i-130

Help with I-824 form after I-130 approval

I am in a situation where I have to file I-824. Is it better to file with a lawyer? Also, in the form, I just need to file as petitioner, provide my wife’s info in part 3 principal beneficiary, and select 1d in section 2. Is that right? I just want to ensure I don’t miss anything. I am assuming the dependents section in part 3 is only if you have kids. #I-130 #I-824

my case has been approved yesterday in 1st of April after more than 11 months of waiting form Vermont Service Center. Thanks god. Approved less than 1 month of RFE response. No interview was required as my spouse and I live overseas. And I truly appreciate everyone in this community who has shared greatly useful info.. I hope luck for you all waiting, it is a longe journey but with patience everything hopefully will be as you planed. although lawfully status has not been changed on the first day the approval letter has been found in the USCIS account. #i-130 #vermont #spouse #RFE

Hello everyone Does anyone have this same issue? EAD was approved and mailed but AP still sits as Case received. Will I receive combo card or EAD alone? Has this happened to anyone and what was the outcome? E-filed I 130 approved, interview awaiting in 3 weeks

Hi all, I share this post for those who are concerend about their E-filed I 130. My wife filed I-130 online on April 27th. Next day, we could find the receipt notice through her uscis account. When we filed I-485 a few weeks later, we simply printed out the online notice to prove that this is a concurrent filing. We were actually waiting for official I-797 notice to come via mail, but it was delayed due to address issue. So we asked uscis office whether the online notice had the same effectiveness as the mailed version. Online notice has the exactly same contents except the fancy headings with uscis logo. They said it is okay, so we filed I-485 with I 130 online notice. Then, there was a confusion regarding the service center. At first, I saw an update in uscis account that it is with NSC. But the notice said on the bottom that it is with TSC. On May 4th, the status changed to 'being actively reviewed', but I didn't have any update until last week. So I called uscis, and now they said it is with CSC! In the meantime, my I 485 was being processed with normal timeline. I received the interview scheduled update on Dec 6th. And I received I765 ead last friday(10th). Then this week, on 15th, I 130 was approved!! I was so worried because it was at CSC. And I was not sure how much they prioritize online filed I130. Also, I was worried that I485 packet is physically not with I130 packet. But, it seems that uscis takes care of online filed I130 in the same timeline as the physically mailed forms. I couldn't find many information on e-filed I 130, so I leave this info for those who are concerned as I was before! #online #E-file #I-130
