PD - Jan 2022 | I-130 | Help me understand
Hi All
How am I supposed to understand the PD? According to the Visa Bulleting, the USCIS is working on files from Nov. 2021, correct?
Does that mean that my file wont be looked up yet until the bulleting shows current to my PD?
If is like that, how come are cases being approved way after my PD?

I-824 Delayed, WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW ?
My sister applied for my dad's I-130. My sister is a U.S. citizen.Priority Date: April 8, 2022 I-130 Approved: June 27, 2023 Texas Service Center.
Then we received a notice indicating that we needed to file I-824. My sister filed I-824 on August 7, 2023. There have been no updates since then; they have only acknowledged receipt of our case. The service center handling the case is now Vermont.
Please suggest what we should do.

Sponsoring Parents / Adjustment of Status
Good day everyone,
I’m preparing to sponsor my mother who is currently residing in the U.S on a travel visa so I guess I need to apply for her adjustment of status.
What documents and forms should I prepare ahead of time for her and myself as the sponsorer? Should we do medical examination ahead of time or wait for the application to be called?
Does anyone know how much it will approximately cost if I seek help from a immigration firm? Does anyone have a trustful lawyer firm who can help me with the process for affordable price? I’d love to get professional help instead of doing it myself, incase I get something wrong and the time for RFE is long.

hey, so upon getting an update through EMMA, my case has been transfer from NBC to Tampa Field Office but no notice was sent. anyone in the same path as me? with this whole transfer to field office, did it move slow, fast etc? #i-130 #AOS #greencard
