HOW TRUE?
NBC, Lee's summit, MO do not process I-485. It only processes other applications like travel, EAD etc. NBC will review your I-485, verify that all documents are attached with the application and prepare your I-485 for a field office (nearest USCIS office from your location). If any document is missing, you will get an RFE. NBC also schedules appointment at your nearest field office for an interview, if required. Based on your priority date and visa availability, NBC review your I-485. You should check the https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ for the field office location (select the nearest city that has USCIS office from your location), as most likely your application will be sent to a field office who will process your application. #I-485 #I-130 #I-131 #uscis #nbc

I-485 / I-130 Concurrent filing - US Citizen sponsoring Parent
I am hoping to receive some guidance/info on a medical RFE response. My mom received the RFE for medical from the USCIS on March 1, 2023. The completed paperwork was delivered on March 16, 2023, per our tracking info given my our immigration attorney. It's been over 4 months now without any response from USCIS. Our immigration attorney tells us to be patient. My mom's online account says she has passed the response date, and USCIS will consider this when reviewing her case. We have completed a service request online but that has been one month without any response from USCIS. Has anyone else been in this situation? Do we just sit back and be "patient" as our immigration attorney tells us to do? Any feedback will be appreciated. We filed our case on 7/29/22 at the Dallas FO. #i-485 #i-130 #familybasedvisas

I-130 case taking a bit longer 😢
Hello Everyone!! Let me share you our timeline w/ my husband.. We filed our i-130 last June 16,2022 and got the first AR on the same day. My husband is an active duty service member, LPR. He got his citizenship last Nov. 2022 . On the 2nd week of June 2022 our processing time changed to “case taking a bit longer” from 1 week 😩😭and till now, it’s still the same… My husband called USCIS several times and asked them if they upgraded our case (LPR- USC) and they said yes… but till now, there’s no progress at all. I’m starting to lose hope but I need to be strong for my husband. 😭😢 Hopefully we get approved soon, in God’s perfect timing! 🤞🏻🙏🏻✨ #i-130 #casetakingabitlonger #LPR-USC #ApprovedSoon

Finally Approved
Below is my timeline. The first RFE was to send in our taxes for the most recent year. The second was for the medical. We submitted the medical along with the other forms (#I-485, #I-765, #I-130, #I-131). However, there were changes to the medical requirements and new forms for 2023. We followed the instructions in the notice and submitted to USCIS. Once approved, “CARD WAS PRODUCED” on July 10, 2023 and delivered today, July 13, 2023.
