Case Processing
May God come helping us 🙏
I won't lie, all the talk surrounding the incoming administration has me anxious. I would like to get this squared away before Trump takes office. What are the odds, and why do folks think it's taking so long. At the beginning I thought that was a election speech but this guy is back in the Czar humm plus Noem this girl . God help us
CRP since last 1 year PD current but no progress
Hi
Anyone with priority date Oct 2021 EB1 country India and still pending with CRP status ?
My case went CRP in August 2023 when dates retrograde last year. But dates became current since July 2024 but no update since then.
Created Service Request twice in last 3 months but it was responded with "Case is under review and you will receive update shortly" for both SRs.
I am out of any clues what should I do as chatting with Emma really doesn't help. Case is really straightforward and medicals were submitted with application. with dates being current for so long, it should just get approved without any delays.
Received I-512T while in I485 pending status, diff than I-512L
#I-512T #I485 #EB1C
My wife has received I-512T now while rest of our family members received I-512L earlier. All of our’s I485 applications are in CRP status and awaiting for final action date to become current. Why did my wife alone has received diff type of travel authorization document. What should be we aware of? Is this a problem?
Activamente revisando #2
Nos ha llegado un correo diciendo que han tomado una accion con nuestro caso y salio activamente revisando por segunda vez pero aun no sale nada en documentos.#revisando

change of address
hello! me and my husband are from SC but nextyear February we are moving to Florida for better work opportunities and cheaper cost of living . Would it affect my papers if I change my address in February?
I checked USCIS processing times, for SC it’s 28 months (80%)
in Orlando FL its 18 months (80%) approval from the date filed.
can you all share your thoughts and experiences? TY

Got my green card🎉
Finally got my green card. It’s been a long journey of 5 years. We applied for my first case in 2019 and got denied in 2021 because they claimed we didn’t submit enough proof and “pictures were taken for immigration purposes”. They were pictures we submitted in response to an RFE for proof of valid marriage. One of the pictures was a family picture with my cats we sent to my family previously. We didn’t have much to send because we already gave them everything we had during the interview a few months ago and most of our marriage was during COVID at that point. Also the first case was DIY, I did a lot of research though.
We submitted more than enough evidence though, texts from the past 5 years, photos from the past 5 years, health insurance together, joint bills, cashapp transactions since 2016, etc. The only thing we didn’t have was a joint bank account and car insurance because I wasn’t working or driving. My lawyer said he’s surprised the case got denied as we had a lot of evidence and it’s probably because I’m Nigerian.
Anyways we got a lawyer and filed an EOIR29 appeal for the denial but have never gotten a response back. Our lawyer said they lost in the limestone cave archives. Six month later at the end of February 2022 we filed a new i485+ i130 case with our lawyer and way more evidence including a joint bank account and car insurance. The case got sent back because they said there was no payment even though it was there(it just wasn’t in the front). We sent it right back in March and it wasn’t accepted till May 2022 for some reason. Got my EAD in March 2023 and didn’t hear anything else till May 2024. Then I got 2 “case is being reviewed” in 2 weeks on i485. Then my i130 got approved in August. Then they took back the approval a week later with some BS about proving my husbands (first middle last name) is the same person as (first last name). Turns out his middle name was missing on his birth certificate but it’s on every other document. Luckily my husband also had a passport with his middle name so we submitted that and other documents as proof of his name + citizenship. Our lawyer gave us an option to change his name on his birth certificate but I thought that would take way too long because we would have to get a court order and there was no issue with my husband getting a passport recently with that same birth certificate. We also submitted an affidavit from him and his dad that he was the same person and never officially changed his name. Two weeks after submitting it, the i130 was approved.
In September got an RFE for the medical exam, submitted it a month later and a few days later the case was approved 🎉.
Case was approved on a Saturday(didn't know they even worked then) and card was produced 5 days later. Card was shipped 4 days later(longest 4 days ever). Then it was shipped to my lawyers office Wednesday and I picked it up the next day.
Tldr: my first case got denied. Appeal was literally lost. Filed another case and it got approved. Lots of difficulties in the case.
