Frustrated beyond frustration!!!
Dear All,
I’m really frustrated at the slow speed of processing of my applications by USCIS.
I’ve been in the US for almost a year now. I haven’t received my work permit authorisation and everything else is according to their system “within the processing time”!
I’m a professional with many years of experience and my profession requires me to work regularly to keep up with current developments in my field. I’m effectively “stuck” here in the US (I normally work globally) and feel that by the time I get back to the job market, I’ll face the rhetoric of not being up to date…
Even though I still meet my CPD requirements with my professional body using online webinars, it’s difficult when the theories learnt are not put into practice immediately.
I’m really frustrated and can’t believe that the immigration system for the greatest nation on this planet is plagued with so much backlog…
My Suggested Solutions for USCIS:
Regarding the delays and backlogs
1. Hire more staff to do the job (on contract and/or permanent basis). You already have the funds to pay the additional staff through the application fees received.
2. Automate your systems using the latest technology and through the use of qualified and competent individuals.
3. Be honest and more accurate about the timing for processing applications. This allows applicants who are human beings not just “alpha numeric” codes in your system to plan ahead and live without the anxiety this delay is causing.
These are my humble thoughts on this matter. Feel free to comment accordingly.
Vawa EAD card
hello, I am wanting to see if anyone is in the same time line as me. I submitted my i765 (employment authorization) under VAWA. My receipt date is March 2024. I already completed my fingerprints and the USCIS system is updated. I also received my prima Facia in June 2024 My question is how long does it take to get my work permit and Social? It’s been 8 months.
My case was transferred from Nebraska center to Vermont service center on May 31, 2024. Help!
I751 still pending and just applied for citizenship N400
I'm already eligible to apply for citizenship through the 3 year rule, I submitted my case yesterday and 30 minutes later I got a notification that my fingerprint and biometrics will be reuse 🙏🤞 #lasvegas #nationalbenefitscenter #n400 #i751

NEW RFE AFTER MEDICAL EXAM
Hi everyone,
I’m currently adjusting my status through VAWA, and my I-485 application is in process. A few months ago, I received a Request for Initial Evidence (RFE) for the medical exam, which I submitted promptly.
Now, I’ve received a new Request for Additional Evidence (RFE), but I haven’t received the physical notice yet. Does anyone have experience with this? What kind of evidence do they typically ask for after the medical exam in a VAWA-based adjustment of status case?

Planning trip to India -in Jan- I-131 (L1A expired)
Hi friends needed some advice. My L1A expired am on EAD and have valid I-131 Advancr Parole. GC interview done awaiting PD to be current. Planning to visit India on work cum brief holiday in January with return around end of January . I wanted to know if anyone has travelled on AP and what docs etc do we need to carry.
I read elsewhere that European airlines are avoidable since they don’t accept AP as valid Visa so am planning Emirates or Air India etc. Any advice/ suggestions welcome.
