Case Processing
Just a thought… (Not a legal advise or anything related to…)
In a previous post, I clearly explained why I believe premium processing (PP) is essential these days, if you can afford it. So please, take action!
Get your answers quickly!
Get adjudicated!
If you receive a Request for Evidence (RFE), address it!
If you face a denial, fix it!
And then, get in line—fast!
Imagine we're in line at a coffee shop with at least a thousand people ahead of us waiting to order their “I-140,” and even more are joining! There’s only one or two employees making the coffee, and they're struggling to keep up (AOS)! But they’ll continue serving coffee because that’s the only way to keep the shop open.
Please understand this: the situation isn’t what it used to be! It’s no longer about being current in the process. It’s all about grabbing that ticket and getting in line to pick up your coffee as quickly as possible! The longer you wait, the more distant your priority date becomes, making it harder to order your coffee.
Remember, these days,
PP is NOT about being current!
It’s NOT about being current!
It’s NOT about being current!
Secure your spot and get in line!
Just a friendly reminder in response to many comments I've received asking, “Why should I do PP if I’m not current?” This is not legal advice and it's not mandatory, but it's important to be realistic about the current situation—it’s not getting any better. More and more people are applying, and there aren’t enough staff to keep up with the demand!
The choice is yours now, and good luck to everyone!

pending decision for 221g
Hi Everyone,
I have filed a CR1 Visa application for my husband and he got 221g during interview. However, it's been more than 6 months we have not heard back from them and no additional document is requested. we are kind of clueless about what to do next. Can someone please share the experience if going through the same or have been in this situation?
Thank you in advance.
Case Revert Back to Fingerprints Applied
PD 4/2021. Had my interview in 2023. Case CPR since then. Got an update yesterday that case went back to Fingerprints were applied.
Does it mean good news coming soon as they make progress on my case? Seems like there were just boxes on their system they need to check to get to decison/new card produced?
Wish everyone good news soon.

USCIS sent a letter of cancelation of interview that I already attended in January. I received a letter in mail yesterday, 4/24/25 stating that the interview was canceled.
What does it mean if a previously attended interview was canceled. I attended an interview in January with my wife, I was sent a NOID which was promptly responded to. Thereafter I received a G56 interview letter in April which was also attended to by my wife and Me. Now, I got a letter stating that the January interview has been canceled.

I obtained my citizenship while serving in the army, and I had my green card for two years at that time. Today, I received a letter from USCIS stating that I need to file Form I-751. Do I need to file this form since I am already a U.S. citizen? I’m kind of confused about why they are sending this if they already retrieved my green card immediately after I was approved for naturalization.
