interview
I am a USC married to a Canadian citizen who got married in the states but lived in Canada for 11 years. have two kids 10 and 7. we are back in the states now (hubby on L1A visa) , I-130 and I-485 submitted at the same time.
we did the biometric and responded to the RFE in April. it’s been silent since then.
is it possible for the interview to be be waived since we have been married for 12 years with two kids?

Under USCIS policy, the interview can be waived if the officer already has enough evidence to approve the case without needing to meet you.
They often consider waiving when the marriage is clearly bona fide, there are no inconsistencies, and all background and security checks are clear
but it’s never guaranteed. so good luck
