Hold on abeyance. does it work or I have to file another i485?
Hello folks,
I filed for marriage base i485 since 2019.
I was abused by my wife and she threatened to not continue with the marriage.
I called USCIS to hold my i485 in abeyance while I filed for Vawa in 2021. Vawa was approved March 2023, I received rfe for medical in June 2023 which I have responded the same month and they have received it. since then I haven’t heard from USCIS. I did go to the congresswoman but they told me my case is waiting for officer to be reviewed.
my friend advice me to file another i485 because USCIS make their money through filling of forms, is this normal?
it’s over 12years still nothing show up only pending case? can Sam one tell me when it’s going to got approved
it’s over 12year when this pending case will move out to ?
can Sam one tell my how longe I have to wait ?

I-485 RFE Status Not Updated
I filled for Adjustment of Status under EB1. I got RFE of my birth certificate, I sent it back in response to the RFE. It’s been 18days since the response to the RFE was delivered to USCIS but there has been any update on the RFE status.
Anyone has any idea what might happening?
My friend got similar RFE, I submitted RFE response a week before him and his own already got updated to received
How long does it take USCIS to make a decision after medical RFE?
60 to 90 days ?
On average, after you submit the requested evidence, USCIS may take 60 to 90 days to review the RFE response and issue a decision
Could it be that I'm like this? It's been 7 days

if you search “uscis data” you can get the latest number of pending 485s. I compared the November 3rd numbers with the August 3rd numbers for eb3 row and here are my key takeaways:
- PDs in 2021 and earlier went from 1478 to 1208 meaning around 300 were adjudicated in that group.
- PDs from Jan 2022 to Oct 2022 inclusive went from 2740 to 3924.
- The total number of current pending 485s as of November 3 is 5477.
These numbers are hard to swallow. Peace and love to everyone going through this. ✌️❤️
I-864 affidavit of support document
hello, I am seeking help because I have a interview for a family member but I am trying to download the I-864 I submitted a few month ago. Unfortunately, I have tried to see if I can download it through the national visa center website but it won’t let me. any advice would help! I need this document for the interview in 3 Weeks!
