Next step advice for a returned i485
Hello all,
I am a family of three and submitted i485 with medicals. Mine (principal applicant) was approved and my dependents’ forms were returned.
Finally, the notice came in the mail and it looks like we missed a part of the i485 while filling for my dependents.
The USCIS already unpacked the documents, inserted some bar codes at the bottom of the pages, opened the sealed medical envelopes, and arranged it in some sort of orders (I guess based on their preference).
So, I have the following follow-up questions:
1. Since we missed only a part of the filling, can we go ahead and fill part we omitted, and resubmit exactly the same form with the initial dates… or we should fill a new i485 altogether
2. Now that the medical report is unsealed, do we go back to the doctor for another sealed report… or the USCIS will take the unsealed one back since they are the ones who opened it initially
3. Since the document came stapled and arranged in some sort of order… We still need to unstable it, and remove the green notice to place it on top. So, should we staple it back after that and maintain the current order they sent the package to us?
4. There is a white notice that came with the form which had a receipt number with MSC2590*** I am assuming we don’t need to include G-1145 anymore
5. Some of the pages (not all) has some squiggly lines with CD written in front with ink 🖊. *I am curious what this meant and whether we are required to do anything on that page*, because those aren’t the pages where we had any incomplete or incorrect filing.
Thank you 🙏 everyone in anticipation of your inputs and sharing your experience
EB1 India
Hello Lawfully community,
I have a situation here, need your inputs/comments
Mine is EB1 India with PD May 2022. got AP valid until 2029 and EAD valid until Jul 2025. Completed my interview at local USCIS office, after that case went to pending state due to unavailability of visa number
Due to unforeseen circumstances I have to go back to india and uncertain when I will be back to USA. I dont have a job in usa now.
Having said that, what may happen to my case once visa number is available? Also, to apply for EAD renewal I have to be present in US, so, can I travel to usa with my AP and apply for renewal?

Finally, got approval today,
submitted on 30 OCT 2023, Nebraska
Actively reviewed status since 2 Nov 2023
Approved today.

I 485 ( k1 adjustment status)
Hello 👋
So i entered the USA with a k1 visa and i am now on the process of adjusting my status by filling i 485 form. so i wanted to ask you guys what medical documents you submitted along with the i 485 form. and also if the ds 3025 medical form is accepted alone or does it have to necessarily be i 693 form?
Looking for your kind responses
Thank you!

approved I-140
Let me share my joy. I received my Christmas gift of approval of the I-140. The first step of this long and wonderful journey to achieve a common goal was achieved. Now we have to wait several more months for the visa bulletin to be up to date and for a visa to be available for me and my family. Greetings and may your visa be obtained each one of you, God bless You!
