Case Processing
I90 GREEN CARD REPLACEMENT
Last year I lost my green card on a trip I had overseas. I had to get a re entry permit to the US which succesfully got approved and came to the US in May 2021. Around May 24th I submitted I-90 to replace my green card and had my biometrics appointment in June 24 (see my case timeline) and today October 14th it still says “Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS”
It says it takes around 7.5-13 months to be processed, how accurate is this information? Is this actually true? I’d like to travel to my birth country to celebrate Christmas with family, it’s going to be 2 weeks, do you think I’ll get my green card before Christmas?

Expedite Request denied without evidence
Please I need your kind help.
As shown below, USCIS denied my expedite request without even asking for evidence.
Requested through Emma, 7 days later a denial email is sent...
Why didn't they ask for evidence before making a decision?!
"The status of this service request is:
Due to the high volume of expedite requests for this case type, we are strictly enforcing the criteria that has been set for these expedite requests. While your situation appears serious, you have not provided evidence of an extreme emergent need. Therefore, your request for expeditious processing has been denied.
This decision has no effect on the decision of your case. Your case is still pending adjudication.
We hope this information is helpful to you."
