Hello everyone, I hope someone can answer my question. So I’m doing the k1 visa the approved petition was sent to the NVC and they gave me the case number and inquiry number. When I logged in into CEAC it said “At NVC” but I kept reading and it said to go to another link and to read the instructions on what to do next. I went into the link and it said that all K visas have to do the DS-160 so the consulate can process the case. From what I understand we have to do the DS-160 when NVC has already sent it to the consulate. So do we have to do the DS-160 now or just wait until they send it? Thank you.
any one in the same boat?
I had my biometrics since Aug 24 last year, since then nothing has changed it’s very frustrating.

i-485 stuck since August 2020
adjustment of status applicant via employment. filed may 2020. had biometrics in August 2020 and have had no update to status since then. got EAD combo card but extension expires in 4 weeks and this is also been filed and pending since June 2021. have emailed congressman and no response from USCIS. have inquired since the case is outside normal processing time and no response as well. any filers around that time frame stuck as well or successful and mind sharing what worked for you?

I have applied for the change of status (F1) on 3th Sep 2020. The B1 extension got approved. So, i thought I would receive the approval of F1 by last year december itself. But, Unfortunately, A change of status application is still pending with USCIS. Besides that the case is out of the processing time which worries me a lot now. I wanna know probability of getting approved. I really wanna pursue a master of science. I hope anyone will help with this.

in Jan of 2020 I had my I-212 cased apprvd but due to covid things on my case slowed down.Then in the beginning of 2021 we filed I-824 to see if they could move things along with my case a bit faster but since May only update is "Name was updated" and that's it. I dont know if my case is being reviewed. Dont have anything other than my name was updated. i live outside of the USA and have been away from my family for almost 7 years that this has been going on. What can I do to have them take a look at my case even if the receipt date is in April of 2020 Vermont center

how do I chat with emma to expedite ?
I tried chatting with emma but it’s not helpful at all . it’s sending me back to the website even though I type: Request to expedite EAD processing . when that was not fruitful I typed : chat with live agent . yet it’s redirecting me back to the website. please does anyone know the steps to chat with emma that I will be connected to a live agent ?
