GC Interview Schedule
My biometric appointment was scheduled on 5th October and the status was changed to ‘Fingerprints received’. There has been no updates since. Does anyone know how long does it take for interview to be scheduled? I did a medical 1 week after my biometrics but I am afraid it might get outdated as it won’t be within 2 months of interview. my service center is Lee Summit, MO

H-1B Receipt Notice
Hi there! My current employer filed an H-1B change of employer petition (“transfer”) Oct 15 — about 2 months ago. Regular processing. They still haven’t received a receipt number/notice. Are delays this long common at the moment?
I thought that the receipt number should come in a few weeks… I’m worried that I’ll hit 60 days
interview was scheduled but I-130 still not updated

I got notice from i-485 yesterday that my interview was scheduled and they will mail info about that. However, there is not any update on my i-130 which is processing at California center. Am I able to go t interview without any update on that?

name change with pending case?
So I could use an opinion. I am married to US citizen but didn’t change my name because I lost my passport and I was told to change my name on a social security card I would need a form of ID especially a passport if you are not a citizen. My marriage certificate has my current name. so here are my questions
1. I just got a passport and would love to change my name to my husband but don’t know where to begin
2. If I get a green should I just wait until 2 years pass and change my name while I am renewing my green card or should I do it now?
3. If I do it now how would that affect my application?
4. once I change my name, would I need to change my name on my passport as well or can I travel with my passport as long as my ticket has the same name in the passport?
I could use any directions or information regarding changing my name.

Hi everyone,
My case status went straight to "actively reviewing" your case wording after I attended my biometrics appointment back in September. Does your USCIS status specifically show that biometrics has been taken? I keep reading of people who say it's says that on their status. Months later, I am starting to get anxious that they haven't recorded the biometrics.
Does anyone have any insight?
About upgrading after naturalization
Hello Good people please i need your opinion concerning upgrading my i130 frm F2a category to Cr1 since i jst bcame a citizen,,my confusion is that when i compile the necesary documents SHOULD I MAIL IT TO CALIFORNIA WHERE I MAILED MY i130 bfore it was transfered to VERMONT or i should mail it directly to VERMONT as i already know it is the center processing my case?
