my permanent resident card is awaiting, can I travel with my expired card and the extension? extension is valid for another two years but I don’t have the permanent card yet.

hey Guys first of all let me say this God is Good pray pray pray 🙏 pray over yourselves your document even your interview outfits and watch him work… had my interview yesterday morning in manhattan and both my I-130 and I -485 have been approved in less than 24 hours look at God the interview went pretty smooth close to 30 mins and we were told to wait a possible 120 days …. but God had a different plan

My son’s case changed to “3 weeks until the case decision” on August 6. Then it went to “2 weeks,” then “1 week.” Last night I was really hoping to see “approved,” but instead it changed to, “Your case is taking longer than we expected, but it is still within normal processing times.” I feel a little frustrated and confused. Has anyone else experienced this status? If so, how long did it take for your case to actually be approved after that?

I sent a request regarding my RFE to make sure it was received since April 10th bc according to the api notes it was not received and expired. it took a month to respond and this is what I got today. Your case is within our current processing time. Our systems show that we received your response to our Request For Evidence (RFE) on your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, on April 10, 2025, and processing has now resumed on your application. USCIS systems indicate that your case is awaiting an interview. Your local USCIS Field Office will contact you once they are able to schedule the appointment. Should you not be contacted by your local USCIS Field Office within 90 days of this notice, please reach out to the USCIS Contact Center for additional assistance. so correct me if I am wrong please and share your experience. 1. they resumed as of today processing my application? (what the hell were they doing the past 5 months?) 2. my application was at national benefits center. has it been already transferred or it will be transferred? thanks in advance guys.

My #f2A fellows that have been waiting for more than 2 years, don’t forget that if you got your medical (form #i693) before Nov 2023, it expires after 2 years! I had my interview 2 days ago and found out the day before that my medical is expired and I should have renewed it. I got an RFE for it.

Hey everyone, USCIS just cancelled my interview at the Charleston office (they said “unforeseen circumstances”). Has this happened to anyone else recently? Did they reschedule fast or just move forward without another interview?
