we have question regarding I 130. Our mother is US Citizen Since 2022.. Me and my family lives here for so long almost 11 years we have asylum case before but now she applied for us(I 130 petition). Can somebody share their journey how long it takes to approve that petition since we lives here in US already? Thank you so much in advance!!!

its been 2.8 years since i filled for I-130 through my citizen wife and im still waiting, i got in touch with my senator and i was told uscis told the senator i have to wait úntil august for a response and even then i might not get an answer.....

I’ll submit the vawa on 11/12 but still waiting for receipt

I just got back from abroad, entry JFK

I got back on January 27. My flight landed at 1 am. I spent about an hour in secondary, but it was just waiting. They asked me how long I was married for and if I experienced any abuse mentally or physically. I answered short and decisive. They took me to get fingerprinted, waited for another 15 minutes and handed me back my passport saying that I can go. Hope this helps with anyone planning to travel abroad.
