After waiting 3 years and 2 months, my green card has finally been approved. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted, and I’m grateful this long, exhausting journey has come to an end. At the same time, it’s hard not to think about the toll it’s taken, the slow process, the stress, and the years I can’t get back (I arrived 13years ago). I’m filled with excitement, but also a deep sense of sadness, almost an emptiness, realizing how much I missed along the way. And now, I can’t help but ask myself “was it all truly worth it?”
Green Card Approval
I wanted to share my story. I have been silent on this forum but this app helped me during this journey. Here is a summary of my journey EB2 PERM ROW: PD: June 2023 RD: Nov 2024. Dec-10: RFE for Birth certificate, Jan 10: Response to RFE sent. Became current : June 2025. case was transferred from NBC to Brooklyn FO (not sure when-Non Local for me). Received 2nd RFE from Brooklyn office July 2nd. Responded to RFE July 14 but my status never updated to show that my response to RFE was received. I was a bit worried that the documents were lost. August 28: New card is being produced. Don’t lose hope guys. your time is near.

Otro mes que se va ya 11 meses esperando una Cita Embajada de 🇺🇸 en 🇩🇴 y siguen los atrasos, gracias a Dios enviaron a un nuevo consul general para que acorte esta larga espera. Ya contrato 6 cónsules nuevos y varios procesos de la embajada pasarán a Washington, D.C para que por fin se dediquen a las entrevistas los cónsules.
Déjenme saber si les llego cita ya o por que fecha van sus conocidos, los míos son DQ diciembre 2024 y este mes recibieron cita sin tramitar expedited ni nada particular, tengamos fe que sigan así.

I recently applied for Adit stamp, while on phone with the officer, he called me back to review if I was eligible for the Adit stamp, I asked for my case status and he said it was still processing and I should get it b4 Feb 2026..
My Concern now is would he have told me if there was a reason for delay? he also stated that if I didn’t get it by feb I could now file for out of processing time. Do you think it will come before February like he said? He also said my Adit stamp will be mailed to the house that I didn’t need to go into the field office to get it
has anyone experienced this?
been documentarily qualified, received interview date and 8 days away from the interview you get a text on the app, no email saying that the petitioners income does not surpass the poverty guidelines and we need a sponsor to fill out a new i864 and upload and tax transcript for 2024
processing time
hi Everyone ,
I applied for green card on May 2025 based on marriage to USC, I didn’t receive any serious update (only I-765. & I-485 processing - 1-130 &I-131 received ), the analysis here shows the processing time for my receipt is 68 days for the EAD and UScis shows 3.5 month based on my situation and service center, now i am waiting for 120 days with no update. is this normal and when i can expect the EAD? Thnx
