I know that must have been shocking to see after already getting your green card. In most cases like this, it turns out to be a system or administrative glitch, especially if the card was already approved and produced months ago. Sometimes USCIS schedules interviews in error due to internal updates, file transfers, or system lag. It’s also not unusual for dependents to be scheduled at a different field office if their address or file routing differs. This does not automatically mean your green card is being revoked. I would recommend calling USCIS first to confirm whether the interview was issued in error, but if they don’t cancel it, attend with your green card and approval notices. In many similar situations, the officer simply confirms the approval and closes it out. - Attorney Ana Gabriela Urizar (All information shared here is for general educational purposes only.
