how much longer for I-485 to get approved?
my husband just got his I-131 approved but we are wondering if we should just wait for the I-485 to get approved or travel now that he got his I-131. Any suggestions?

Interview Cancelled after initial interview in November (El Salvador)
We had our interview in November but got a notification and status change that an interview was canceled a few days ago. Anyone experience anything similar? Thanks in advance!

Received work permit for 5 years
Dear All,
Happy to share that as per commitment received from law office, my work permit renewed within a 1 month for 5 years, no biometric visit required, no needs to visit office, everything on call & email and very smoothly by law office and thankful for their efforts. 🤝🎉😁

waiting…. and waiting.
It has been 515 days (oct 2022) Its been a struggle waiting to hear about the I-485 and it is more and more discouraging seeing people gain approvals that filed after us and recieved approvals in a fraction of the time.
It is making me lose hope. Average processing times are 15.5 months and we have already exceeded that time frame. Just needed to vent a little bit.
hmm…I’m a bit confused!:)I applied for my c09 EAD renewal . applied as advance parole plus work authorization. while waiting on approval I got my VAWA approved and got c31 work authorization.
so now I got my c31 work authorization without travel permit and a few days ago I got a notification that my work authorization card for c09 is being produced but my 131 travel permit remained the same…:I have two questions:
1) does it mean I can use both work authorization cards or not?
2) did anyone applied for EAD card and also got the same update only about their work authorization but still received a combo card?
my confusion for the whole process is beyond comprehension 😅.
btw, for those who will be asking I filed vawa in Jan 2021 and still have no notice of approval but got the card. I believe it will take a few more months to get the notice and got it transferred to the GC office

K-1 VISA AOS(I-485)
hello
my husband came to usa with K1 visa on 12/17/23 and we got married on 12/27/23. On 1/22/24 we applied for I-485 but due to the incorrect processing fee case has been rejected for 2nd time. I would like to know if his K1 visa expire and we are trying to apply for AOS does it matter?
I-130, blessings🙏🏻
happy start to the week, I am confident in my father God that we will have approvals, PS April 14, 2023 almost a year now but with faith placed in God that he will do the miracle, in me. and in you, I declare it in the Name of Jesus🙌🏻

Off to Ireland to visit him🥰
My husband left the US in 2022 to visit his home in Ireland, hoping it would be a couple weeks and he’d be able to come back to me. Here we are 2 years later and I’m going to the airport in a few hours to fly to him. For the 9th time. I’m grateful that I’m at least allowed to visit, even tho leaving my 2 daughters and taking off work is very hard, I know I’m blessed we have a strong marriage and long distance has just made us stronger. Almost a year since filing our 1-130, I pray everyday we see an approval soon and this is my last flight without him🙏🍀❤️
