I-485 transferred from Local Field Office to National Benefit Center
Hi Guys,
My I-485 case was transferred from NBC to a Field Office and has again been transferred from the field office back to NBC. Please has anyone encountered that? I had a chat with a representative through Emma and I was given the message below.
At this time your application is currently located at the National Benefit Center, as of today. Cases are transferred at the officers discretion. We do not have access to when
your cases are transferred. You will receive a transfer notice if your case gets moved. At this time your interview has been waived. We do not have access to when your case is reviewed. There is nothing needed from you at this time.
Continue to wait for the officer assigned to your case to finish processing your application. Every Case is assigned to an officer when received by USCIS. Each case is unique and some might take longer than others. We appreciate your patience at this time.

@K T yeah in my case I have approved i130 Two days ago and my i485 is transfer office local u don’t have updates!

NBC transfers the application to a local office for an interview. If the interview is not necessary, they will send it back to make a decision.

@i can't wait to see if the green card is really green the l-485 has to be always send to the field office for final decision about the interview or other stuffs ,then they send it back to NBC if they don’t need a interview and everything look good .
