Case Processing
travel with ap combo card
hey guys,
i came from vacations today from india. i was taken for secondary inspection. i waited there for 2 hours because there was just one cbp officer and so many people waiting. my name was called and they gave me my passport and my ead and ap combo card and let me go without any questions asked. my port of entry was Dulles VA (IAD)
EAD card in hand! 12/2/24 submitted
Good morning everyone! My EAD card was delivered to me today. I was approved 3/29, card was produced 3/31 and mailed out 4/2. I'm am so thankful for a smooth process so far and I know the wait will be LONG but worth it for my VAWA to be approved. Next step is AP. a few months ago I was so lost without any idea what I would do without financial help for an attorney. I took it upon myself to look for options that I could do myself and I was able to do it all in a few days. for those of you wondering if an attorney is required to have a good case you can do it ALONE. I watched every VAWA YouTube video out there and did it! we got this my friends 🧡

RFE NOT FOUND IN DOCUMENT TAB
We received an update on our case 4/4/2025 for RFE but checking the docs tab we can’t find the notice. Does anyone know how to go about this since the update says there’s a deadline to the submission? also how long will it take to get a decision after we submit the rfe? PD is 12/31/2023.

Approved 🙏🏻My heart is full 💚 All things are possible!✨#believe #hope
Hello everyone, just wanted to come here and thank everyone for their help and support and share my happiness and experience.
My immigration/Vawa journey has finally come to end.
Alhumdulillah my attorney recieved my Greencard in the mail yesterday
The most important thing I’ve learnt in this draining long process is patience and faith in Allah, no matter what he is always there for you and has a plan for you.
I want everyone out there to believe in god and hope for the best.
Whatever is meant to be will happen.
I still can’t believe it.
If you see my timeline it’s insane, I had applied on 30th December 2020.
It took me (51 months) 1553 damn days to get here.
There were days I didn’t believe it was possible, I was so close to giving up at last year because I had no update on my case for 3.8 years not even an EAD but like I said earlier God always has a plan for us, and he makes all things possible that we cannot even imagine. I’m so so so thankful.
My interview was on 26th March and the interview went very smooth, the officer was very straight forward, calm and polite. Even though she didn’t smile at all, lol.
She gave me a good good vibe!
My interview went well until the very last when the officer asked me about the I-864W and said that was missing in my file, she said I’ll receive an RFE for it in the mail in 2 weeks and once she receives it back they will make a decision.
When I called my attorney after the interview she told me we had already submitted the I-865W. I was so disheartened that I came until the very end and was one step away..
But in the end I received my GC in 8 days after the interview without any more Rfe’s 🥳
GOD INDEED IS THE GREATEST.
I’m so grateful for everything after going thru all kinds difficulties, stress, hardship, emotions, ups and downs in the past years. I’m finally mentally free 🙏🥹🤍

2nd biometrics scheduled
Guys I am confused! My priority date is Feb 2023 and I have been in CRP since Nov 2023. My 2-yrs EAD will expire beginning of next month. I filed for EAD renewal online on 31 of March. Then yesterday I got a notification that biometrics have been scheduled. I am confused as I have already done my biometrics back in March of 2023. can one do biometrics 2x? or is there a mistake?
