Case Processing
Greened
After 2+ years since 140 and 485 were concurrently filed (November 2023 to be exact), prem processing for 140, couple of online inquiries and two through congressional inquiry, medical RFE and 2nd biometrics, I finally got the adjustment of status decision today - thank God! hopefully the card will be mailed in the next 2 weeks. Thanks to everyone here. just stay patient and everyone’s time will come!

I751 Receipt notice and then rejection notice several days later?
our lawyer submitted the paperwork to remove conditions from my husband’s green card. first time we got a rejection for incorrect fee despite paying properly. The resubmitted the forms and on 3/19 we got a 797C notice of action in the mail saying the $750 was recieved and the GC was extended for 48 months while they processed the case. the notice was dated received 3/9 and the notice date was 3/14. on 3/26 we got another 797c in the mail saying rejected due to incorrect fee. That notice was dated received 3/9 and notice date of 3/19.
what is happening here? how do we have both a letter saying the GC is extended AND that we were rejected?

Finally, everything is done. Today was my interview, and it went well. They approved my case right away and said they will send me a letter later for the oath ceremony. My status now shows that I am in line for the oath ceremony.
Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get the oath ceremony scheduled? Also, will I receive my second green card, or not? Any idea about the timeline would be helpful.

change of case status
Hello everyone,
I have a question about my I-485 case.
Last week my case status changed from “Case activity reviewed by USCIS” to “Your case is still being processed.”
I contacted a live agent through USCIS chat, and the agent told me that my case was transferred from the National Benefits Center to the San Antonio Field Office.
I already had my interview in 2024 for both forms I-130 and I-485.
My I-130 was approved, but my I-485 was not approved at that time because a visa was not available.
Now the agent told me that my case is in the queue for an interview, which confused me because I already completed the interview for the I-485.
My questions are:
1. Is it possible that USCIS will schedule another interview for the I-485 even though I already had one?
2. Has anyone had a similar experience where their case was transferred back to the field office after the visa became available?
3. Could this just mean they are reviewing my case again before making a decision?
Also, I am from one of the 75 countries under additional review, so I wonder if that could affect the process.
I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who had a similar situation. Thank you.
