Hey everyone! I’m currently renewing my green card, and I was given a temporary proof of my permanent resident status. I’m about to travel internationally and wanted to make sure that my passport and this temporary document are the only things I need to bring with me to travel and re-enter the U.S. Has anyone traveled with these documents while waiting for their green card renewal? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience. Thank you! ❤️

People are saying that everyone who received the FBI letter will get their asylum decision soon. I’m not sure if that’s true, because some people who haven’t even had their asylum interview have received the letter too.

Hi everyone!
My pd is Nov 2021, been current for approx 6 months, but no update on case. Had my interview back in 2024. I did congressional inquiry about 4 months ago, but got same generic response that case is waiting background checks. Should I wait or seek mandamus option? Getting anxious now. 😢

Hola a todos, el pasado 8 de octubre tuve la entrevista y al dia siguiente me aprobaron la I-130, pero la I485 dice cancelacion de evidencia adicional (nunca me habian pedido evidencia adicional) asi ha permanecido hasta el momento. no se que esperar o si alguien tiene una situacion familiar, estuvimos en la oficina de Hartford
oath ceremony
my interview was August 20th and my oath ceremony is next month November 18th. I am currently outside the country to get married before the oath ceremony. hope this won’t get me rescheduled because I think my Naturalization certificate will already be printed with Single in the marital status. I really don’t care if I get single printed on it, I just want my certificate that day.
Has anyone ever been in this situation before or knows someone that has been in this situation.

WOM-interview-rfe
After the federal lawsuit, I was scheduled for an interview on October 1st, and everything went smoothly. I thought I could just wait for the approval. My WOM deadline is October 20th, yet it still says "interview completed, must be reviewed." Status. At this point, I received an email from the government attorney suggesting that I extend the WOM deadline by 60 days, stating they would contact USCIS and intend to issue requests for evidence, which would require additional time to complete the adjudication process. However, I still haven't received any official letter to date. Why is this happening? I've already had a follow-up interview, which went smoothly, and no documents were requested on the spot—yet now there are subsequent requests for additional submissions.
