Case Processing

Mandamus
In general, I once again apologize to the rest, you can fly with us to Mandamus. I'll delete this post tomorrow. I don't want to bother you anymore. I contacted attorney Jessica T. Arena to prepare a group mandamus lawsuit. We need four more people to join in order to file it. The cost is $2,200 per case (per family). If you’re tired of waiting, you’re welcome to join my group. I’ll leave her website here: https://jtarenalaw.com/aylee-i-485-group-lawsuit-onboarding/ I think this is a very reasonable price for a group lawsuit. The filing will take place in the jurisdiction of one of the group members’ residences. The backlog is growing by 5,000 cases per month. There’s no end in sight. At this rate, we could be waiting for years to get a decision. I believe this is unsafe and unreasonable. By this month, the backlog will be over 100,000 cases. At the current processing rate, it will take 5 years (!!) to work through all of them. https://jtarenalaw.com/aylee-i-485-group-lawsuit-onboarding/ you need to contact the attorney directly and ask to be included in the group filing. Ask a lawyer all the questions, I'm just a volunteer who's trying to get people together and push the group forward. You can send me your name (I’ll send you a request), and I’ll also let her know about you from my side so we don’t lose track of each other. Friends, no one except us is interested in getting a green card for us right now. Let's do it

It’s my turn! My case is Approved! 🙏🏻
Hi friends! It’s my turn! After almost 5 years of sharing my journey and reading about others’ experiences, it’s finally my time to say: my case is approved! Since I know these posts mean a lot to many of us, I didn’t want to skip sharing my story. I’ll try to keep it simple and cover the main points and common questions: PD: 03/2021 Sponsor: Taco Bell – BDV 1st interview: 08/2022 Started working for sponsor: 12/2022 → Worked for one full year after that I informed my sponsor I’d need to take a break for personal reasons. 05/2025: RFE for medical 06/2025: Case ready for 2nd interview 09/2025: Interview scheduled (yes, I waited 3 months to receive the date!) 10/2025: 2nd interview – Detroit Field Office The interview was very quick—about 30–40 minutes. The officer was kind and mentioned she knew I had been waiting a long time but needed a second interview due to new policies. She said she just needed to review and update some information. No questions about BDV, my sponsor, or anything like that ( all these questions was made on my first interview). She asked when I stopped working; I was honest and explained that the visa wasn’t available and that I had to move to another state for personal reasons, but that once approved, I intend to return to work. She asked if I worked somewhere else—I said yes, temporarily—and that was it. My husband’s interview was separate, and he was with the officer for only about 15 minutes. Mostly form questions. Dependents: Only my husband (we have 2 kids, both born here). My biggest advice: Keep living your life and doing what makes you happy. Otherwise, time will pass, and you’ll feel stuck and frustrated. Your time will come! Wishing you all a future filled with purpose and happiness here! Thank you for all the support in this great community 💫
