Anyone filed in December 2025 and still waiting on their biometrics appointment?
sent a message on my USCIS Acc and got the ‘we haven’t decided if you need them or not’
is this normal?
50 days and nothing since the receipt notices (concurrent filing,no over stays,married for almost 9years)

Hi, there.Just wanna share a little update.So I made a post stating that they made a typographic error on my all my receipt notice and and produce my EAD card with that same misspelled name.However , when my lawyer got my receipt and notice he saw the error , he did a e requests let them know that the error was made and it needs to be addressed.
Unfortunately, they did not honor that request.So he did the second option , which is to send it by mail so he send a letterhead explanation stating what happened
evidence that all my form was correctly filed with my correct last name a copy of my birthcertificate, , a copy of my passport evidence that the e request was requested , but not honored and a copy of my signature so I got an update on February 11th, stating that the card was received and it was destroyed so hopefully prayed that I get my card back ASAP..
I know this is a long road my advice to everyone. Just have patience have faith persons who haven't received their receipt. Notice it took me six months and two weeks to receive mines and the week after I got the other notice with my schedule to do my biometric so I hope this help anyone who is waiting notices.

Hi guys,
I applied for vawa almost 3 years ago. My spouse is a Legal Permanent Resident. He has been a resident for 9 years. He is thinking about applying for citizenship. Does my vawa affect him in anyway? Will he get told anything at his N400 interview?
Also my spouse also travelled to his home country back in 2024 (Biden Administration). He has no criminal records or illegal entry or anything. Yet he was taken into secondary at JFK airport. One of the CBP officers said he would never get citizenship and questioned him for an hour about how he came to the US.
Do you think whatever happened has anything to do with my vawa?
At first my husband was scared thinking why that happened…
He got his lawyer get a FOIA and after getting his FOIA… there’s absolutely nothing on there to suggest he wouldn’t be able to get his citizenship.

USCIS received my response to the RFE on January 26, 2026. On January 28, 2026, the case status updated to “Case Is Still Being Processed.”
For those who have been in a similar situation (especially EB-2 NIW), how long did it take for you to receive a final decision after USCIS acknowledged receiving your RFE response?
If you were under premium processing, was your decision issued within the 45 business days, or did it take longer?
Is it common to receive a decision earlier than the 45-business-day timeframe?
I would really appreciate hearing about your timelines and experiences. Thank you!
About I 130
we have question regarding I 130. Our mother is US Citizen Since 2022.. Me and my family lives here for so long almost 11 years we have asylum case before but now she applied for us(I 130 petition). Can somebody share their journey how long it takes to approve that petition since we lives here in US already? Thank you so much in advance!!!
U visa derivative approval issued for consular processing even when beneficiary is in USA
U visa derivative approved for consular processing when the beneficiary is on valid F1 status in the USA. does anyone seen such case ? anyone know how to make USICS convert this approval to status in the US and issue i94 ?

- Combo Card Approved: September 21, 2025
-Silent Update: October 26, 2025
Spoke to Emma and was told my case was transferred to the Los Angeles Field Office
- I-485 Supplement J Approved: February 10, 2026
-I-485 Approved: February 11, 2026 🎉(Also, my dependent was approved today)
After months of waiting, checking updates, and praying… I can finally sleep better at night. 🙌
