This message is for VAWA filers who have received a Prima Facie Determination. You can attend school with this status. My FAFSA covered 100% of my tuition, and I am now in my second semester at the university. Education gives you strength—once you educate yourself, you can face any challenge with confidence.
Today I sent my response to the RFE request for bona fide marrige the usual letter sent by Uscis ( waiver )
I had already sent my tax returns for 2 years together , Photos and vehicle insurance for one year, joint health insurance and affidavit of your parents
but now i send
1- Leases for 3 years together
2 - Electricity bills for almost 3 years one of each year because they could only send me that
3 - My stepdaughter's emergency contact in her medical role from the beginning of the relationship
4- ID photos of the same address
5 - Letter from my ex explaining the relationship and that everything ended in separation and that if the relationship was true
6- Another letter from my best friend from the Army explaining about the relationship and that
7- Travel itinerary together
8- Movement of our account as a whole only some of almost 3 years.
9- The other years of insurance that were missing
I hope this helps and is a good evidence for uscis because there were more but all that was lost in the course of the divorce.

interview today
I had my I-485 (EB-2) adjustment of status interview today at 9:15 AM, and I wanted to share my experience to help others who may be in a similar situation.
I arrived early and was called in without issues. The interview lasted approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours.
The first part of the interview consisted mostly of yes/no questions directly from the I-485 application (standard admissibility and background questions). After that, the officer asked case-specific questions, mainly related to my immigration history and employment-based petition. Nothing unusual or unexpected came up.
The officer was professional and thorough. There were no accusations, no trick questions, and no requests for additional documents during the interview.
At the end of the interview, the officer informed me that they would need to conduct an immigration review and discuss the case with a supervisor before adjudicating. No decision was given on the spot, and I was told to wait for the official update.
Overall, the interview felt procedural and straightforward, even though it was long. I left feeling that the officer wanted to make sure everything was properly reviewed before making a final decision.
I’ll update once there is movement on the case.
Hope this helps others going through the process.

collection of the $1000
Hi everyone!
On December 30th, I returned from Mexico through Seattle airport and was charged $1000 due to the new law. I paid with my credit card and re-entered the country. On January 26th, I checked my credit card statement and saw that CBP refunded the money to my card. I don't know if this is happening to everyone or just me. My permit is a C09.
