(Interview Date: 11/19/2021) 11/19/2021-New Card Is Being Produced Field Office: Philadelphia Our Interview was scheduled at 9:05 AM. We parked in the parking lot on side of USCIS Office ($20 Cash) and entered the building 15 minutes ago with Masks on as instructed. Once we checked in we were told to go to Floor-2 and we waited called by a lady officer around 9:10 AM from Door-3. She took us to her room where there was another officer already sitting. As instructed in the interview notice, we took all the paperwork submitted to USCIS until now and it was almost a whole box of paperworks. She explained that she is in training and the guy is the supervisor who is training her. The guy officer joked and told “You brought even more evidence and pointed to our file that there is already enough and we might not look into them”. I laughed and replied that I was just following the interview notice. This really made the whole situation very easy and every one was laughing. The lady officer asked us to take the Oath and then went over the I-130. She asked for our Driving License and Passport(that she entered USA) and SSN of my spouse. I-130 Questions directed to me: Name, Place of birth, Current Address (since we moved from the address from the time of filing, she took a note of that), parents name, current employer, how many times you are married , date and place of marriage and any biological kids. She then asked for my naturalization certificate and verified it with the application. She made small talks that she just moved to Philly and since we moved here in March, she was asking if we liked it here or not. I-485 questions directed to my wife: Name, Place of birth, Current Address (since we moved from the address from the time of filing, she took a note of that), parents name, Last entry to USA, current Status (H1-B), current employer, how many times you are married and any biological kids. She then told she will be asking questions about our relation and anyone of us can answer. 1. When and Where do you meet? 2. When did the relation turned romantic? 3. When did you guys move-in? 4. Was there any proposal? 5. When did you get married? 6. Any Vacations you guys had recently? She then told she is done with the questions and went to the I-485 Security questions. She asked around 10-15 questions and in one of the questions ; she only asked have you even been to court? and my wife answered No but I went to court for our wedding and every laughed and the supervisor told “good answer”. She then asked what New Evidences we have brought. We told since we just got an RFE for I-130 on Sept, we submitted all the Bonafide Marriage evidences then and there has been not much update but we again brought everything as it was stated on the interview notice. The supervisor told since they have everything; he told give them only those thing that are new. We gave 2022 Health Insurance detail and new photos. She asked if we can keep the photos and I told yes and she went over the pictures and told these are so beautiful. She then told the interview is complete and since we already submitted the Medicals during initial filling she is good with it and if we have any questions. We both said no. She then asked my wife to sign the I-485 form because we changed the address from initial filing. The total time taken for the interview was about 20 minutes. Both for the officers were so nice and made the interview so comfortable for us. Our lawyer (We only hired the lawyer for the interview) in the back asked when will they get a decision and she told she will approve it later today and we should receive the Green card in about 2-4 weeks. Then the supervisor escorted us to the door and the status changed to New Card being produced around 2:00 PM today.
