Have you had interview for I-485?

yes, today was our second marriage based interview.

Whats the status on your I485?

I485 status says card being produced. However, the call in letter stated it was to review I130. Status on I130 has not been updated.

has that status been since interview 1?

I’m asking as we just had our 1st interview yesterday and I485 changed to card being produced. however, I130 is in review.

Don’t worry about it. All sorts of manifestations happen with the online account after interview. If you’ve been notified that I-485 is approved, I believe that covers I-130 as well and it will update 1-2 days after.

i got my i-485 approved yesterday too online. when does it usually change to card is being produced after ‘approved’ status?

From other people’s post on here and Reddit, it changes from 1-a few days..

oh thank you! i just hope it’s not like you got approved 3 months ago and still hasnt changed to card is being produced thus not receiving the green card yet. phew!

B Akin, I had my interview Monday and everything went well and the officer said she still reviewing and if there anything she need she all get back to be but there is nothing I will see my GC in the mail, but my app has not change from interview scheduled since. what should I be expecting?

@Bayo B; Please note that I am only answering based on what I’ve read. From what you’ve said, it appears that your case is still under review and not yet approved. There is not set time for this. I have seen the review go from 1 day to many months. Let’s hope your goes pretty quickly 🤞🏾

@MJ Adel, oh it didnt even change to approve? that’s nice! mine still saying approved. both i-130 and i-485. i can view the letter they sent or will send in the mail saying that cases were approved. i was told to wait 2 to 3 weeks to get the card so i guess ill just wait. but i hope they send ssn card soon too

@kings wifey this second interview took about 30 minutes. The officer was very polite and asked my husband to wait outside. He explained that the officer that did out first interview was no longer there and that he was the senior officer assigned our case. He asked a few questions only. 1. Where did we meet 2. Had we taken any trips together 3. Where was our last trip and how did we get there 4. what's my husband's age 5. He asked if I had life insurance and for proof of it. We took a lot of evidence and pictures but that was the only document he asked for. He later called my husband in and asked him thhe same questions with me sittting there. He told us that was all he needed and that we would get a letter in the mail but about 1 hour later we got the email saying the card is being produced🤸‍♀️🙏🙏

@ B Akin I got the approval notice today for both the I130 and I485.

B Akin, Thank you a lot for all your word of encouragement, I got my case change on Wednesday that a new card is been produced and saw on the I-130 that interview completed. so happy and my thanksgiving was fun.
