Interview Completed. Approved on the spot.
Hi everyone, so the D-day finally arrived and although we arrived early for our interview, we waited over an hour to get called. Interview was for about 20 minutes, not a lot of questions, IO was nice and professional. Asked how we met and when. Didn’t want to know more. Asked for any additional documents, picked 2 and returned the 499 that I offered 😀. I brought 130 photos but she said the 35 I uploaded online before the interview was enough. Asked questions off the I-485 form and corrected one mistake. Told me she has approved my application, but did not ask me to sign anything. Just told me how to get SSN and said wait for GC in mail. No update yet online so fingers crossed. I had no lawyer, we did the process ourselves and my PD is in July so 4 months and some in total. I’ll take questions and answer them as best as I can, please be reasonable, I can only tell what I know. I will post my timeline when I get the update. Best of luck to everyone waiting 🙏🏾

Approved!!! I-130 for spouse
Good morning all, I wanted to share a good news that our I-130 application was just approved this morning. This community has been very helpful so I wanted to share my timeline and experience in case it helps anyone. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Priority Date:: 3rd March 2021. Legal permanent resident filing for spouse overseas. Received receipt from California service center but USCIS online portal said the case is being processed at Nebraska service center. 1 month later in April, I received a letter from USCIS with information on how to setup online account, that letter came from Texas service center. Since then no movement until October 1st, I got a notification that the case is being actively reviewed. On Nov 12th, I received an RFE asking for my passport size photos not my spouses who is the beneficiary. But the lawyer recommended we send photos of both, the lawyer did the overnight shipping on Monday, it was received by USCIC on Tuesday. My account was updated on Wednesday with "response received". This morning I woke up to a notification that my case is being actively reviewing (this was the 2nd actively reviewing and I have seen people in this group receiving approval letter after 2nd actively reviewing). So right away I opened my account and under documents tab I saw the approval notices. Please let me know if there are any questions. Thanks,

nvc. we sent in everything already. so what does this means what they sent us?

Worth the wait
After 23 months wait I finally got my 10 years gc today in the mail. Been married for 2 year on December but the Lord granted me 10 years green card for trusting Him and not conditional gc. It’s was quite a journey, we almost loose our faith but we were firm that things are in control just trust Him. We thought about getting help from the senator, expedite service etc but we believed that it was the devil trying to deceived us and trying to shake our faith. Until now we can’t believe it happened having 10 years gc, but we know nothing is impossible with God. Thank you all for your suggestions and inputs with this journey. Trust the Lord because He will not forsake you. God bless you all
