case approve but spouse is abusive
hello guys am here outside my house right now with all my clothes in my car trying to figure out what to do my wife is an alcoholic and she is abusive I am wondering what can I do to save my self because I have a two year green card what do I do when it’s time to remove condition’s?thanks for any advice given 👍🏻

you never have to stay in suck relationship. sorry about your situation. you can file for removal of conditional of your green card after a divorce. it’s totally doable and nothing to be worried about. consult with a lawyer.

you can filed for your 10 years yourself. u don't need your wife. what u only need is proof that you entered the marriage in a good faith ( which means, pictures and joint documents, etc...) then Then all the stuff to prove that afterwards your marriage went toxic. With some good evidences and research from internet and YouTube videos, you should be able to do it yourself. Staying in a toxic relationship is untolerable. Good luck

Get a lawyer that specializes in VAWA, and you’ll be just fine. Meanwhile start gathering all the evidence of the abuse, don’t allow to be manipulated into abusing her back, just leave for good and file for VAWA.

men always get the raw end, all a women needs to do is call the cops and by default the man is presumed guilty….. time for men to demand their rights, isn’t justice supposed to be impartial….

@Kash Thomas That is true, that’s why I mentioned to avoid to be manipulated into abusing back. Any littlest thing (even a word, or even literally nothing) and she could call the cops and the situation can be reversed. Better to get out of there and handle it from there.

No need for VAWA since you already have a 2yr GC. Collect evidence of abuse and file a waiver when filing for your 10yrs GC. Good luck
