Good morning family please I have gotten my letter and I need your contributions to get out of this boundage, the questions raised there are as follows: the mis-contradiction with dates from what I quoted and what the psychologist wrote was confusing and that before filling my vawa I had lived within 3yrs outside the USA 🇺🇸 and therefore criminal records are needed that even though my pictures shows evidently weight and that there was no insight on the explanation. so on and continuous and that I have 33 days to reopen the case. Now my take is please even though I filled using a lawyer, please I need you all and especially those that have gone through this to really help me out on what next to do. cos my lawyer is saying he’s going to resubmit same case with few personal write up’s from me for reopening. please is he right and what can I do to get my head up again I’m so down with emotions and a lot on my life going drain for this abuse and everyday life in the state. so many negative thoughts on my head. please I call on you all to help me scale through this trial moment, tears are rolling dow my cheeks as I typed and I pray for strength to hold on 🙏 please I need your help guys I’m loosing it. thank you all😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

When does USCIS start actively reviewing a case?

I’ve seen a couple of standalone I-130 forms being actively reviewed a month or two after submissions mine is just a bit over two months and still no updates, any reason? thanks!

can anyone please share their i-290b timeliness. how long it takees. mine 6+ months received status. enter with TN visa Edit 02/24/2025: my i-290 got approved after 7 months ( 200 days approx.). I haven't got any mail/notice yet. Even the online status is the same application received. However got an update on a service request. Saying they are actively working. So when I reached out to Emma Live agent. They said said your motion was granted and i-485 was reopened. They are actively rereviewing i-485 as well. Online i-485 still says denied. 21 April interview done. 22 April case was approved.
