Advance parole lost
Hello , my advance parole was approved but it didn’t get delivered . I submitted service request but it’s been 1.5 months since I submitted it as well but no reply so far . tried contacting USCIS all they say is to wait . told my lawyer they said either to wait or file new one as well . so I wanted to know if anyone had gone through a similar situation and what did you guys do . I am totally lost thinking what should I do
RFIE updated on case status but not received yet
I received an RFIE on my i485 application on Dec 17,2024 but I haven’t received the document yet. I am concerned about the deadline. I have called USCIS several times and they say there’s a service request to send it to me but no idea when that will happen.
any suggestions on what else I can do?
my online account doesn’t have a documents tab either.
I’m anxious and don’t want to miss the deadline.

I’ve been reflecting on something lately and wanted to share my thoughts. I’m starting to consider applying for Premium Processing (PP), but I keep asking myself—why? • I’m not current, and realistically, I probably won’t be anytime soon (2026-2027).
Still, I’m beginning to think it might be a good idea to have my case processed sooner, especially BEFORE any changes or new regulations are introduced by the incoming administration.
I understand that systemic changes take time, but let’s not forget that these agencies often operate in their own world. Historically, they’ve made decisions based on discretion and the priorities of their officers, so there’s always some unpredictability involved.
On the flip side, some lawyer friends have advised against this approach, pointing out potential downsides. For instance, they suggest it could lead to a
• Request for Evidence (RFE), possibly as a way to buy more time since the system is overwhelmed.
• Worse yet, an RFE could escalate the case to higher-level officers, who are known for stricter reviews and higher denial rates.
Despite these concerns, I find myself leaning more and more toward applying for PP. I’ve even started saving up to make it possible. It might not be a perfect plan, but it feels like the right step for me right now.

June 2024 filing and still no biometrics request
I’ve had no previous filings where USCIS would have had my biometrics already so I’m wondering why it’s taking so long for my biometrics request. I received Prima Facie fairly quickly and we are at the average processing time for EAD’s at Vermont, although my EAD is filed C9, I’m still worried about the new administration. my lawyer submitted an inquiry in Dec. and they’ve generically acknowledged his request but still no movement.

my file about wava. my receipt date 22 july but i didn’t get any approval notice and any other notice about i-765 c(09) and i-131.and my i-765 status on aug-3 case transfer and new office jurisdiction and i-131 fingerprint unpdate on 16 october. and my biometric on 29 aug..can anyone help about how long it take time for approval?
