Hello, I’m very curious about my case because it has been a long time, and I haven’t received any notification from immigration. After the deadline passed for when I could call to ask, they told me I would receive a response from immigration regarding my case within the next 30 days. If not, they said I should call them again. This is the second time I’ve called after the website said I could inquire about my case. (I live in Rhode Island). I’ve seen that in Massachusetts, they send the work permit within 2 to 3 months, but I feel like mine is taking too long. Or is it always like this in Rhode Island? I just want to know if anyone has experienced something similar. I’m very curious and stressed because everything seems normal, but they don’t say anything either. 😩😩😩😭 The I-130/ i-487/ i-765 status remains the same.
Hola, tengo mucha curiosidad sobre mi caso porque ha pasado mucho tiempo y no he recibido ninguna notificación de migración. Después de que se cumplió el plazo en el que podía llamar para preguntar, me dijeron que recibiría respuesta de migración sobre mi caso en los próximos 30 días, y que, de no ser así, volviera a llamarlos nuevamente. Esta es la segunda vez que los llamo después de que la página indicó que podía preguntar sobre mi caso. (Vivo en Rhode Island). He visto que en Massachusetts en 2 o 3 meses envían el permiso de trabajo; en cambio, creo que el mío se ha tardado mucho. ¿O es siempre así en Rhode Island? Solo quiero saber si a alguien más le ha pasado lo mismo. Tengo mucha curiosidad y estrés porque nada parece estar fuera de lo normal, pero tampoco dicen nada. 😩😩😩😭 El formulario I-130 sigue igual.

Just got out of my consular interview for EB2 NIW in Rio.
Here's my timeline (didn't use PP).
PD: March 6, 2023
Approval: July 13, 2023
Returned to home country: July 26, 2023

Interview date: January 6, 2025
My interview was scheduled for 7:20am and it took me the total of an hour. First they check your documents and then you speak with the consul. He asked me two questions:
1. Do you prefer the east coast or west coast? (It was a joke because I went to school in Oregon and then got my masters in New York)
2. What do you plan to do in US? And then I briefly stated my professional plan.
THAT WAS IT!!! I was so nervous and anxious.
Documents they asked: passport, original birth certificate and copy, police certificate (federal and state), proof of the medical examination.

I took my biometrics in Dec and already have 765 approved .485 reflects that my biometrics were taken in Dec . but I-131 just updated to say they attached case with biometrics today .
should I get excited because they are working on my case or should I temper expectations . my PD is current !

hi everyone, I hope everyone got into the new year in good spirit.
Im having an issue with my i-485. My vawa got approved on may 2024 but I’ve never got an update since on my i-485. The only notice I’ve ever got was case received and they sent me a letter saying they applied fingerprints from my previous i-485 (during marriage) but even that never updated online. My lawyer sent an inquiry June with no response, I also sent an inquiry around spetember with no response and my lawyer just sent another one a few days ago. i finally got to talk with a tier 2 officer around mid november and got told I would receive an answer on the case in 30days(its about to be two months) but still nothing. What are my options at this point? its almost like my case is lost or cant be found. This is frustrating to a point I cant even explain, I want to see my family man😭this whole thing is breaking me, looks like being abused while married was not enough

uscis received my #i601a in january 4, 2022 and in february 7,2022 i had my biometrics appointment but i have been waiting since then and the only mails ive gotten is my case being transferred back and forth from nebraska to potomac and finally back to nebraska. does anybody know why are they doing this? what comes after? and how long is it taking for these to be approved for the interview?.
uscis recibiò mi #i601a en enero 4,2022 y en febrero 7,2022 tuve la cita para mis huellas dactilares pero he estado esperando desde entonces y lo unico que me ha llegado han sido notificacio es que mi caso ha sido transferido de nebraska a potomac y de vuelta a nebraska. alguien sabe porque hacen esto? que pasa despues? cuanto esta tardando para aprobar para la entrevista?
