I-751 Divorce Waiver - What Evidence Is
Most Helpful?
Hi all, I'm filing my I-751 with a divorce waiver and have a few quick questions:
• Should I include relationship evidence from the beginning of the marriage, or just from after we filed the I-751?
• Do affidavits need to be notarized? Some of my supporters can't do that.
• Can affidavits come from people abroad?
• Should I include screenshots of messages or call logs (e.g. "I'm coming home," "Do you need anything from the store?")?
• Should I leave my ex's name in the contact, or show the phone number in the screenshots?
I appreciate any tips from people who have done this before!

I-751 filed two weeks ago; no receipt number or letter yet
I filed my I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence about two weeks ago, but I still haven’t received any receipt notice (Form I-797C). I know there can be delays, but I’m starting to wonder if this is normal.
For those of you who’ve filed recently, how long did it take to get your receipt notice in the mail? Should I wait a bit longer or start getting concerned?
Thanks in advance for any insight!
I had my asylum interview 4 months ago. They said I’d get a decision by mail in 2 weeks, but I haven’t received anything yet. What should I do now?
I attended my asylum interview three years after filing my application. During the interview, the officer told me that I would receive a decision within two weeks. Later, they mentioned that the decision would be mailed to me. However, it has now been four months, and I still haven’t received any response.
What should I do in this situation?

Greened ! After 10 years of marriage lol
An incredible case. finally got approved after 9 years of waiting (2905 days to be exact). they kept asking for proofs and lost my RFE response and Denied based on abandonment of the case. Eventually the USCIS found the RFE package after years of stress, and thousands spent on lawyers and after endless back and forth with USCIS.

Still waiting on EAD after 4 months
Hi everyone,
I filed my Employment Authorization (I-765) along with I-485 and I-131 under a pending EB1-A (I-140) on March 31st, 2025. According to the USCIS website, 80% of EAD cases at the National Benefits Center (NBC) are completed within 3.5 months, but it’s been 4 months now and I haven’t received any updates.
National Benefits Center (NBC) IOE 09 314 Receipt date: March 31, 2025 Biometrics taken: May 16, 2025 Inquiry date: September 4, 2025
It’s getting a bit frustrating seeing so many people receiving their EADs within a much shorter timeframe while mine seems stuck. I’m working with a lawyer, and he mentioned we’ll submit a case inquiry if there’s still no update by the inquiry date.
Is anyone else in a similar situation (same IOE range or similar timeline)? Would love to hear your experience or any thoughts on what might be causing delays.
Thanks in advance!
2ND RFE here
so they are requesting secondary evidence of my country of birth, with at least one parents name.
I sent my birth certificate, so I am a little confused as to what more they need. I’m Canadian, does anyone have experience sending secondary birth evidence?
they are also asking me to recalculate my husbands income for I-864 and resend tax and w2 information. he does very clearly meet the sponsoring requirements so what else should we send as proof? would his current paystubs work? they mentioned a joint sponsor, but we really shouldn’t need one as my husbands income exceeds the requirements.
any help is welcome!
I-130 approved
Finally, finally finally Al Hamdullah After waiting almost 15 months just got my wife approval thank God I’m so happy today wish everybody who’s waiting good luck and don’t lose faith. You will get it soon. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

EAD renewal decision still pending. Anyone else in this situation ?
My EAD renewal has been pending for 217 days now. I only received the receipt notice from USCIS and nothing since then. I sent my renewal application via usps on Dec 21,2024. They received my case on Dec23,2024.
I’ve seen people who applied after me already get their EAD renewal approved.
My priority date is March 2022 (EB-3 Other Workers).
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this kind of delay. And if you know any suggestion please recommend me in the comment .
Thank you.
