EB2-NIW . AOS I485 - What should I NOT include? What am I missing?
Hi everyone, my EB2-NIW (I-140) was recently approved and I’m preparing my I-485 Adjustment of Status package. I’m so excited and nervous at the same time.
This is what I’m planning to include:
• I-485
• I-765
• I-131
• I-864W
• I-693 (medical exam)
• I-140 approval notice
• Passport copy
• Visa copy
• I-94
• Birth certificate + certified translation
• 2 passport photos per form
Is there anything I’m missing?
Do I need to pay separate filing fees for Form I-765 (EAD) and Form I-131 (Advance Parole) when submitting them together with the I-485? Or are they included in the I-485 filing fee?
Also, should each form be submitted with a separate form?
Also, is there anything I should NOT include in an EB2-NIW I-485 package to avoid confusion or an RFE?
Thank you!
need advice
guys I have question
i received this email from my lawyer in Last December 2025
PD is Feb 2022
We have recently received word from company that they have decided to no longer proceed through the PERM program. This was not foreseen as we had good conversations leading up to this point, but we cannot force the employer to continue if it is no longer in their business plans.
At this stage you have received the benefit of an approved I-140 with a priority date that you will maintain. This means your priority date from the company filing will still hold for your new application. Therefore, it is likely you will have little to no wait time for the visa interview following the approval of a new I-140. We have employers who are filing PERMs in the next couple of months and we would like to have you included in these filings to continue you on your green card journey, without delay. We will do everything in our power to keep you in the same spot with no additional fees.
I told him to go with the different company and they apply already in March 2025 and my new file is waiting for PERMs approval
any idea what going to happen I’m from Canada please advise thanks
