AOS Interview
Hi everyone,
I would like to ask for some advice or insights regarding my current visa situation.
I am in the U.S. adjusting status (AOS) through marriage. We have been together for about 6 years and got married last year. I am currently working in the U.S. while waiting for our interview, which we will attend together once scheduled.
The only issue is that we are going through a crisis in our relationship. We are currently separated but still in contact and both want to attend the interview and be truthful about our situation.
My questions are:
• Has anyone been in a similar situation?
• How should we approach the interview given that we are temporarily separated?
• Could our case be denied if we explain honestly that we are trying to work things out?
• What do USCIS officers usually focus on in these cases?
Any insights or experiences would be really appreciated.
Thanks
AP denied then I received case closed benefits received by other means
