@Nov 2021 got a notification from the mailbox, uscis mail will come in today, it is from my FO, it was sent on Aug 26 after the closed status update. but it’s not under my name. we dont know anyone that name. any advice?

@pat pat sign up for usps mail, they will send you an email about which mail you will get that day include the picture of the mail.

@mo sha did they create new i485j number? did they approve closed case? what’s your pd? which FO your case in?

Has anyone experienced a similar I-485J administrative closure? I noticed two “Action Taken on Your Case” updates in my USCIS online account on august 21 and august 25. When I logged into my USCIS account, I saw that my I-485J was administratively closed. Today is September 2, and I still haven’t received any physical notice explaining the reason for the closure. Has anyone experienced something similar recently? If you received a notice afterward, could you please share what the notice said and the reason USCIS gave for the administrative closure? Also, what updates did you receive after the I-485J was administratively closed? Did your I-485 case continue moving forward, or was there any other action taken? I would really appreciate it if anyone who has experienced this could share their timeline and what happened afterward. Thank you! 🙏

@PD 18 Nov yes they create new number and that shown 485j approval,and September 1st they updated new card produced. my pd April 2021. they transferred my case Albany field office to NBC a few days ago …

yes , I worked with my sponsor 8 and half months after that till now about 3 and half years same employer ,last September2025 interview done ,after interview medical rfe was sent.
