can you share ur timeline? field office? are you from ban countries? did you get second fingerprint update before interview?

@god is great Ar I applied my GC in jan 2024 . Fresno field office, not from the ban countries. i didn’t get my second fingerprint they took my old fingerprints and I had done my first interview in July everything was good as per officer but today I received interview letter again that’s why I posted this question here if anyone have any idea why did they send me second interview.

@A A I’m waiting for my first interview In Fresno field office from last 3 months they update on June 2nd case is ready to Schedule an interview but after that no update I asked USCIS officer they told me you are in a queue for interview schedule

there can be multiple reasons.. like fraud investigation or something they found in your asylum application.. am not saying that will happen to but it happens are you sure you haven’t travelled outside of the United States.. make sure everything good and don’t renew your passport.. and travel back

@A A more likely they found something in your case and they want to discuss about that, it’s so disappointing when judge approved the case what makes them to do another additional investigation on the documents ,hopefully everything will be okay stay positive

@jatinder singh case is ready to be schedule for an interview that stays changed on match 2025 and I got scheduled in jun 2026 after expedite wait patiently

@mm ss Yes it’s so disappointing and in last interview everything was good they asked questions only from i485 questions it was so normal .lets see hope for best

@A A yes but I filed in December 2023 first my case in Lee Summit , MO then they move to Sacramento field office and then they move to May 2026 to Fresno field office and update on June 2nd 2026 . Did they told you on your case that your case are in queue for interview schedule from March 2025 through June 2026 ?

may i ask what they asked on first interview? anything about your asuylym or only green card questions

@jatinder singh yes when my status got changed after months i start calling uscis they always gave me the same answer my case is in field office in queue for interview

@mason nazarof they asked me questions from i485 normal questions that we fill in that application nothing outside of the application

@A A can you please help me out how you expedite your case you send the paperwork directly to field office or how ? can you please help me out I want to file for expidite my case also I’m also a truck driver my license got canceled in March non domicile they want to see a physical hard copy of green card can you please help me out to expidite

Your first interview sounds like it went well. Since they scheduled a second one so quickly, they may just need to clarify something after reviewing your case. I wouldn’t automatically see it as a bad sign. Review your I-485 and asylum history, and hopefully it’s just a final check before approval. Good luck!
