dependent forms stuck I -485/I-131/I-765
Hi all,
Looking for suggestions or insight. My I-485 (as primary applicant) was approved over a month ago (via EB1-C), along with my daughter's. But my wife's case is still pending, even though we all filed together (I-485, I-131, and I-765) with a receipt date back in August 2024.
My daughter and I received our EADs and Advance Parole pretty quickly, but my wife's are still pending. She did get an RFE for a missing original birth certificate, which our lawyers responded to, and USCIS acknowledged receipt. Since then—radio silence. The only reasons I could think that may affect her case, is that my wife is dual citizen with Iran/Canada, so background checks may take longer due to Iran. She also had her B1/F1 student visa refused long time back (over 7 years ago), which we mentioned in the I-485, but still shouldn't even affect the I-131/I-765 forms..
I’ve tried contacting USCIS via Emma, phone, and even requested Tier 2 support a few weeks ago, but haven’t heard anything back.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have any advice on what else I can do? It feels like her case might be stuck. I've seen other posts where dependents got approved between few days to few months, but have not seen many cases where all the forms seem to be stuck.

Thanks!
for expedite visa processing due to family medical emergency
My father in law is gravely ill with Stage 4 cancer. I am the spouse of a U.S. citizen, and my I-130 petition for a CR1 visa was filed on January 25, 2024. It is currently being processed at the Texas Service Center, but I have not received any updates yet. Can I request expedited processing due to this urgent family medical emergency.

Working during Green Card Journey
Dear Community Members,
The principal applicant during green card approval process is often employed. However, the primary beneficiaries may not. If it takes too long for the green card approval, unemployment is often a concern/worry.
My green card was approved under NIW category and I had a similar situation.
This post is for general help to most of you who have similar situation as me. If you are struggling for jobs beside having EAD during the journey, I want to provide free help. This can mostly help to your dependent.
I suggest getting in touch with me so that you can benefit from this: ghimirebhagi(at)gmail(dot)com

Interview !
Hey guys!
I have an upcoming interview in June, and I have so much questions about it.
1. : Does my husband needs to file again I-864 form because what we submitted it’s been more than a year. So I feel we have to do the new one right?
2.: What is your experience? What do they asked you?
3.: What do we have to wear? I know it’s not as important but important to show respect.
4: how many months of bank statements did you bring for the interview? or what is required?
We have these assets and supporting evidence:
- Pictures
- wedding pictures
-car loan on both names
- 3 years of lease agreement
- car insurance papers on both names
-work emergency contracts
- shared bank accounts/statemants
- Costco card
is anything else we should bring?
do they keep every evidence? how we should prepare? should we do the original and make copy of everything?
Interview is at San Antonio TX
thanks!!
